FETÖ's excessive arrogance led them to believe they could control Erdoğan. The Ergenekon trials were originally initiated to hold those responsible for the February 28 coup accountable. However, FETÖ's approach to the matter with different agendas caused the process to spiral out of control.

As a result, with the July 15 coup attempt, everyone within the state who wasn't involved with FETÖ was forced, even reluctantly, to accept that only Erdoğan could lead this fight.

Meanwhile, before July 15, the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) did not have the authority to conduct investigations within the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK). This authority was granted after the coup attempt.

To say that Erdoğan protected them when there was a FETÖ-affiliated Chief of General Staff in 2004 is to treat people as fools.
According to the decree issued under the state of emergency, intelligence services regarding personnel serving in the Ministry of National Defense and the Turkish Armed Forces will be carried out by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT). MİT will be able to conduct all kinds of investigations, both within and outside the country, regarding Ministry and TSK personnel as part of security investigations.

August 25, 2017

Prior to this regulation, there were unwritten customs and restrictions stemming from military tutelage that prevented MİT from conducting intelligence within the TSK. These restrictions were completely lifted after 2017.

28 Şubat coup and Fetö were together? No thanks. I won't buy this BS.

According to this logic Erdoğan betrayed Erbakan, so he was also with 28 Şubat. Remember the comments of Erbakan about Erdoğan.

Erbakan was the mere victim of 28 Şubat. 28 Şubat abolished Erbakans movement. Others suddenly appeared after coup

Erbakan claims erdogan is basically CIA. We know his handlers Gulen and co were all CIA. The nation was never given an explanation why such an obvious CIA islamist organisation was shown so much favour by AK party and why so much of the Gulen/CIA agenda was not only pursued by AK party but is continued to be pursed by them.

During those years i used to tell people that Gulen was basically an american asset used to subvert the nation. They would accuse you of being a "secularist" or "kemalist" etc. Then once erdogan basically told them Gulen is CIA, they instantly believed it.

I would say to Turks, especially the dopey islamist ones who know nothing outside of the religion and even then they don't really understand their religion, to remember what gulen owned daily zaman used to push. That media entity always attacked secularism and kemalism. That attack is CIA agenda. Think about it. Go back and remember the narratives that zaman was pushing, because what it was telling you to like was good for america and bad for Turkiye, and what was good for Turkiye and bad for america it was telling you to hate.

Politicians can label many people who don't agree with their views. That's natural. But if you accept everything they say as true, you'll lose your way when they make mistakes. I'm saying this about Erdoğan as well.

Aydın Doğan's media also supported the February 28 coup. So where do you place the Kemalist journalists supported by the CIA?

These conversations are getting really stale... Just saying

We are now in a one-man system. Regular politics will not change this, because all the political channels are already tied into knots. AKP is president's personal fief. MHP is basically a MIT front organization. CHP is also controlled opposition through Kılıçdaroğlu. Özgür Özel's new party is going to be a social democrat trainwreck. DEM are flat out terrorists. All the small nationalist parties; Zafer, İYİ, Anahtar are inept and insignificant. TKP is delusional and/or treacherous, not to mention insignificant.

I don't know what can be done at this point. But for patriots, there are things that must be preserved:
  • China is in the process of lobotomizing world's manufacturing. We have to keep the industries afloat somehow.
  • The peace process is still more likely to fail than succeed. When it explodes, there will be some serious disorder. Unity of the motherland is paramount.
  • Defence industry must keep its momentum.
  • Despite bad governance, we stumbled upon a fairly decent web of proxies and patronage throughout the region. It must be defended.
  • Our quality of life is not at the level of South African shanty towns, Brazilian favelas or Calcutta sprawl yet. It must be countered.
As I said, I don't know what can be done. But a lot of us are capable men who can influence our immediate environment. We have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and soldier on. Otherwise of what use is the life we are given? Just jumping off a bridge is a better solution.

But please leave the Erbakan stuff. That's ancient history now. And it's pretty clear Erdoğan is his own man, and not a western agent. Otherwise why would he fight FETO? Please come back to reality.

He's clearly an enemy of the republic though. He's been destroying it no different to how FETO was destroying it. The way i see it in its most simplest form, the prince betrayed his king to usurp the throne for himself. Its still the same shit as far as the Turkish republic is concerned.

In history this is normal where it concerns power. The ruling classes were always murdering each other to further their own personal ambitions. Erdogans personal ambition ironically is what dented the agenda to a degree. He wasnt satisfied with just being their little lackey, he wanted a throne for himself. Hence why he even said england has a queen why can't Turkiye have a king. His addiction to wealth and power is what caused him to revolt against his masters to a degree.

Meanwhile, AKP is systematically wiping out opposition.

CHP's İzmit Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet and her husband have been taken into custody. 29 others have been arrested.

Open a Greek theological school

Allow terrorists to openly parade on the streets

Attack young Turkish protestors who are holding our flag with water cannons and beat and bruise them with batons

Fly the US flag colors over Ankara to show that your government is being backed by uncle Sam.

Appoint Kılıçdaroğlu as CHP's head and call it an internal fight

Arrest oppisition mayors of cities one by one and completely cripple the biggest party by voter count.

AKP is absolutely disgusting. There will be a day when they'll be treated like FETÖ is treated now.

In case you don't know, let me tell you. This man's affiliation with FETÖ has been confirmed by a court ruling. He confessed to being a FETÖ member in court, and his use of ByLock was confirmed.

A warning to our opposition friends: If you don't pay attention to the people you follow, they will herd you like sheep. So be vigilant.

Thank you for pointing out what he is, I didn't even know who the guy was, in fact I'll delete my post to not be associated with that filth. But that doesn't change the fact that AKP is committing treason.

You're warning us of becoming sheep, meanwhile your entire party was holding hands with Gülen. Who really got herded? Who turned around and said we got "deceived"? Tell me again why AKP repeatedly rejects CHPs request for an investigation into FETÖs political wing?

This isn't even up for debate, AKP was knee deep in bed with FETÖ, and there are numerous FETÖ members STILL in AKP, who've committed treason but are still untouchable. When will they pay the price?

We've discussed these issues enough. I'm tired now.

If an investigation is to be opened into the political wing of FETÖ, where will you draw the line? How quickly you forgot that while the CHP is demanding an investigation into the political wing of FETÖ, they defended FETÖ members after they were publicly declared terrorists?

When a trustee was appointed to Bank Asya, CHP MPs demonstrated in front of the bank to protest the operations against FETÖ. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu openly defended the 17/25 December conspiracies of FETÖ. So, when an investigation is opened, will CHP members not cause disturbances and try to influence the courts for those CHP members who will be arrested?

So, let's arrest everyone then. Who will govern the country then? Ekrem İmamoğlu, a FETÖ supporter? Or Meral Akşener, also a FETÖ supporter?

When you look at the alternatives, who do you see that FETÖ couldn't control? You can bury the past, but never the future! If a more trustworthy person were to lead the country, Erdoğan wouldn't still be sitting there.

For those who don't know, Ekrem İmamoğlu, a favorite of the opposition in the country, was a sports commentator on Samanyolu TV before the July 15 coup attempt.

@Bogeyman

Nothing could describe your efforts better than this. Bro, if we run a poll, you'll see very clearly who is who around here. Create a poll right now if you want. People are just laughing at you, you're not even aware of it. Yes, elections have been lost for years because of certain pawns. No need to name the pawn, everyone knows who the one with glasses is.
