Well He isnt wrong tbh, deporting back 3 mil people is a mammoth project and not an easy task.

Humans are compelx you may never know how they would react, certainly not happy because they fled from the dictator and are not happy that he(assad) wasnt toppled. Theyre scared of him and will probably burn their current host country than going back to that no-mans land.

The best solution I can think of is deporting 1 mil refugees, and by that I mean sending back the worst of the worst.

At this point on the best we can do is damage control, so letting no illegal immigrants in, but you prob see how we're dealing with it.

Integrating Arabs... Netherlands, France and Italy is greeting.

He has to speak like that politically. He tells what the UN woman wants to hear. He can't say I will kick 4 million people overnight.

Absolute garbage opinion. We don't need to host 5,3 million Syrians just to have some mercenaries.

Turkey has the second largest army in NATO and arguably the strongest army in the region.

We don't need mercenaries period.

Nobody wants them, even including most AKP voters. They will be gone after 2023.

I can see some use in mercenaries but you don't want proxies having more combat experience than your actual army.

Proxies are there to get chewed up by enemy machine guns while your guys sneak round the side and stab the enemy in the back. I mean, putting it realistically.

There's a major difference between legal immigration and illegals flooding in across the border or refugees being given temporary protection with the expectation that they will go back eventually.

I think modern propaganda has rotted people's brains too much with the "OMG deporting people is literally a crime against humanity, how could you?". You are not obliged to accept people who haven't passed the vetting process and neither are you necesarrily a horrible person for doing so. Many successful and fairly democratic countries do it.

We're not in WWI where we need cannon fodder to fill the trenches. Modern warfare is incredibly complex and requires an incredible level of cohesion. You can't have that when half of your army speaks arabic. This causes a lot of battles to turn into an incoherent mess. Which is partially why we lost so many tanks in syria operations. Because they weren't properly supported by the "infantry" who were busy filming with telephones and uploading our losses to the internet.

It all became clear when in certain provinces more babies are being born to Syrians than Turks. It is an invasion. Pure and simple. When you need to speak arabic to visit certain parts of your country. It is no longer your country, it is slowly being taken from you. We are not stupid.

That's so untrue.
I never heard that the plane would land with no modification on the landing strip, it is supposed to be stopped by some means on the ship by help of a hook that is on the plane or possibly by an elastic barrier.

The 2023 date is a very realistic date as the US is making even full size planes in a similar time frame. Baykar is known to be a company that deliver the promise rather than talk. More sales make more money, I think they are less interested in money but more interested in the victory.

Defense industry is pretty much the only industry in Turkey that is doing fairly well (automobile industry too to be fair), let us not destroy that one too.

It's not up to us to keep politics out. They kept ANKA out for many years keep adding and asking new features which ended up as ANKA-S but they immediately bought Bayraktar drones even though it flew lower and slower. This issue is already highly politicized.

Yet this is nothing compared to cancelling the Ada class tender that was awarded to RMK Marine for purely political reasons. Selling BMC to Ethem Sancak and then awarding Altay production to inexperienced BMC and things happening around that

There's a high level of corruption and political favoritism. It's bright as day to anyone with half a brain

See the similarity between anka-b, anka-s and aksungur. Look at the wing structure of the aksungur. Tusaş doesn't seem to have thought much of it.

Having an MIC means its political. Defence companies compete how much they can bribe politicians or having connections.

Remember this the Northrop YF23 Black Widow was much more superior to the Lockheed YF22. How did lockheed win because they are better at bribing and marketing.

That's a myth by the way. He wanted a semi-automatic full-powered rifle like everybody else was doing at the time. That would become the Gewehr 43 eventually.

They disobeyed him and built the Sturmgewehr, they just called it Maschinenpistole 43.

Anyway this was a big tangent. I think we have established 3 things.

1) There's corruption and political favoritism in Turkish defence industries like in the Wehrmacht how Gustloff Werke was a favorite company of NSDAP, Baykar, BMC and a few others are favorites of AKP.

2)Either MIUS or TCG Anadolu itself must be modified to some extent for these two to work together.

3)We need faster, more capable UAVs to keep up with the manned platforms. I think it's great that MIUS can keep up with E7-T but in the end we need something like Loyal Wingman.

1) cheaper than tb2 anka.
2) What is the locality rate of the 2021 model armored vehicles of the 70-year-old Otokar? (engine, transmission, gun turret...?) What can Otokar do in case of a possible war? Hey, wait a minute, my gun turrets will come from America, my engines will come from Germany, apart from saying. Is it normal for almost a century old company to just assemble the parts? How far behind is it compared to its competitors abroad? Despite all this time, money and manpower, the point that Otokar has reached does not deserve appreciation. I support bmc because at least they have a vision, they have goals. yes, there have been delays, but bmc has ten times the potential of otokar. I vote for bmc.
3) Does aerodynamics mean beauty to you? Aksungur's wings are as if they do not belong to Aksungur. the body is the same as the anka-s. Is this what we expect from TUSAS, which will build 5 generation warplanes?
