No Turks are not racist. You don't know what racism is. No Turk claims he/she is superior to some other people because of his/her DNA or claims superiority because of being a Turk. That is what Europeans/orientalists do (even in this age)

Hating Greeks or Armenians doesn't mean you are a racist. Claiming you are superior because of your DNA and because you are a Turk is racism(or claiming a specific race is inferior).

I think humans by nature are racist anyway no matter how much we love to deny it. Humans are tribal by nature.

Turkish identity has always been ethnic the reason why we did retarded civil nationalism bs just to get Non Turks to live in the country.

People can speak Turkish or even get Turkish citizenship it does not make them Turkish.

Also if a Turkish women marries a Non Turk man. The children are not Turkish no matter what bs people tell me. If a Turkish man has children with a non Turkish women the children are still considered Turkish because being Turkish carries over from the Dad not the mom. Jewish race is the opposite to be considered Jew your mother has to be Jewish.

Turkish people lived in Germany for decades even today they are not accepted as Germans. Same story in Japan no matter how well you intergrate into the society you will always be considered a dirty gaijin.

Usa and Australia are different since born from colonial settler societies and lots immigrants and refugees coming into the country. Even if the USA and Australia had racial based policies it had lots of people coming in today its really different as anybody can be a citizen. Because the real ethnic americans are the native americans while the real ethnic australians are the Australian aboriginals.

Anybody can be American and Australian. But you can never be Turkish, German, Italian, Spanish, French or whatever because nations have already built their ethnic identities.

Now look at this a Turkish man marries a Non Turkish women the wife and children overtime become Turkish due to the father.

In otther words not just a demographic time bomb your country is in the more you allow your women to marry outsiders the more your women and their children will be assmiliated into the husbands culture.

People can deny this all they want. I live in Australia I seen it second hand myself. So many Turkish women marrying Non Turks only to end up assmiliated to the husband culture.

My family friend who is Turkish married a Chilean woman. Guess what the wife is speaking Turkish and children were given Turkish names. Thats how it should be.

In the end always marry your own people because its easier plus you dont have to deal with culture shocks. Its not racist to prefer your own people but if you marry a Non Turk it should be men not women doing it.

The Turkish homeland is the private property of Turkish citizens. Turkish citizens can't be forced to share their private property with the citizens of other nations. That is simply what sovereignty is.

But you are all from the same religion...Why there is so much of noise for such issues?

A) Turkish republic was not founded on religion

B) Religion is one of many identities in people.... so there is no automatic 100% smoothness by just sharing religion in some way

C) This is a specific bunch of a population (illegals etc) so they have already broken the law, yet abusing things past that....why would shared religion be excuse?

Islamic World spans from Morocco to Indonesia. People make this mistake thinking its a unified region where the people are the same ignoring lots of cultures and ethnic groups.

India is not a part of the Islamic world technically but in a sense it is actually because of Muslim rule also how Indian culture made its way into the Islamic world. Also Muslims played a role in influencing India's culture.

You have diverse groups of Turks, Arabs, Malays, Bosniaks, Albanians, Amazighs, Indonesians, Pakistanis, Indians, Bengalis you name it.

I think people keep on mixing the Islamic world with the Arab world. Both different.

Turks, Arabs and the Persians have always had a natural rivalry in the control of the Islamic world.

There is a saying that the Turks are the soldiers/warriors of the Islamic world while the Arabs are the religious scholars while the Persians are the scientists.

I understand where you are coming from but you need to stop projecting western definitions of racism and race relations to Turkey.

Right now Pakistanis are projecting there own insecurities, that they are being discriminated because they are brown or not white enough, that is simply not the case in Turkey. I know that , Arabs did invade indian subcontinent but they never succeeded.
It was only when Turks came in 11th century that Islam could properly make inroads in india.
