Turkish Women are incredibly "popular" in Pakistan.

Harassment images of Turkish women are watched a lot on TikTok. As an effect of this, "Turkish Mother, Turkish Girl" is the most searched on pornographic sites in Pakistan.

These creatures shouldn't be allowed in turkey

Most of the ummah see Turks a secular kafirs, Turks are only considered Muslim by Pakistanis and the likes when Turkey is supporting them.

I am tired of Turkey voicing unconditional support for Pakistan when Pakistan never goes to the same lengths. Turkey has supported Pakistan 100% more then Pakistan has supported Turkey. Same for other Muslim countries.

Time to look out for our own interests first, recent trend has shown us how different we are.

Finally although some of us share the same religion, our culture, world view, politics is very different. Turks have had diverse, long lasting uninterupted states whereby our political, cultural identity and understanding has developed over time into something unique to us.

Countries like Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan have never really had time out from being governed by other peoples or conflict. They are still experimenting with forming an identity hence why cling onto false identities that do not belong too them or work elsewhere in the world, Pakistan is a great example.

Hence you see the disappointment in Pakistanis online, they think they can get away with crimes simply for being Muslim "brothers" of Turks, blame Indians for "propaganda", or blame Turks for being "racist", they forget you have to learn and act like a human first to be accepted in the world.
As we all know there has been a recent crisis between Turks and Pakistanis due to some Pakistani immigrants misbehaving in Turkey and disrespecting Turkish women, culture and way of life.

Let me share a first hand exprience that i made in Istanbul three weeks ago: it was the first day of eid and all public transport was free so many people were on the road using it, the tram i was about to enter was so full that there was no chance to enter it without letting people get out first. There were two young pakistani guys who just pushed people out of their way whether they were elderly or women, no manners at all, then one man looked towards me and started ranting about refugees and government saying things like ''the government filled the country with uncivilized people'', people really have no tolerance left at all.

Here a pic of the situation:
20220502_161222.jpg

What i noticed is that some of the Pakistanis recognize the problem and would like those events never happened but if you follow certain threads on PDF you will notice that most are offended by the critisizm from Turks, they think its only the secular fraction thats critisizing the situation, they dont seem to understand that just because Turkish women enjoy some freedoms doesnt mean its free pass to behave like an animal, Turkish women have just as much pride if not more!!!
What you do in your country is your business but if you go somewhere else then you adapt and respect the customs.

The thing is Turks and Pakistanis are fundamentally different in mentality, it starts with how the nations were founded, Turkey is built as a nation state whilst Pakistans identity is solely based on religion and everything revolves around it. A Turk puts his nation first while a Pakistani will allways put religion first.
If a Turk calls a Pakistani brother then its usually inclusive to all parts of Pakistani society, this is not necessarily the case with majority of Pakistanis, many prefer to be brothers only with the religious fraction, to them the founding father of Turkey is a kuffar and secular Turks are wanna be europeans that need to be looked down to.

In fact they believe that those who critisize Pakistani immigrants in Turkey are just secular fraction without knowing that even the religious fraction started to get tired by those shenanigans, its just was the oppositional fraction who raised their voice first but thats only one of the many misconceptions of Pakistanis regarding Turks after all. (see the disappontment of Pakistanis when ''Halime Baji'' made a victoria secret shooting)

Turks and Pakistanis might share a religion and there might be some warm feelings due to historical events but the two nations are as different as day and night, this was never a problem so far due to booth communities being far away from eachother only having an internet romance but the reality came crashing once the contact was made and people noticed how incompatible our booth lifestyles and world views are.

This poll shows why Turks would rather get along with the first 1/3 (Ottoman sphere of influence and Turkic central asia) of the list rather than the rest.

We don't see pakistanis as our brothers they made the whole nation hate them.

These people can't act like humans in a country where they can't even respect the culture.

Funnily Its not the secular fraction but Nationalists who also hate them.
Pakistanis should know this we don't see them as brothers Nationalists are looking for excuse to literally murder any pakistanis they can find.
This situation will end with bloodshed nothing more they should expect this.
I dont think the situation is that dire but the events sure made a lasting damage into how most Turks see Pakistan in general and the reaction from Pakistani side isnt really helping the situation either.

Most are offended by the reaction from Turkish side and dont even see the core issue here, they dont understand that such topics are very sensitive in Turkey, I mean stuff like bothering women in a perverted way or the other extreme by telling them what to wear.

They dont understand that most Turks appreciate their freedoms which is only granted in a minority of muslim countries, Turks are very aware of that so these topics hit a nerve, espacially when its foreigners who disrespect those values while coming from places where a woman would get stoned for dressing lightly.

These values /freedoms are the exact reason why our nation holds Atatürk so high and will always be thankful to his visionary politics that were a blessing in the most dire times of the nation.

"Atatürk and the Republic of Turkey were heavily insulted under the news of Atatürk and 19 May shared on the official Facebook page of the TRT Arabi channel broadcasting in Arabic. TRT did not interfere with the insults, all of which were made in Arabic."
They beg to come to our land and then they think they own the place.
Put them all in a big boat and send them back to Assad via the Med.
Probably the Greeks will sink them before Assad gets to ride them.

Quick reminder that the proper term is Pakistani.

Please dont use the short form that is often used as a slur. Thank you.

Pak means pure/clean(also same meaning in Turkish) Paki means someone who is pure/clean. Pakistan means land of the pure/clean and Pakistani means someone who is from the land of the pure/clean. I didn't know that Paki is used as a slur that is news to me.

Paki is a racial slur term used mostly in the UK.
The term isn't only directed at Pakistanis but almost always at Indians too. Bangladeshi, Arabs, Jews, and Mediterranean people could be called that at times.
Any dark-skinned individual could be subjected to that abuse.

According to ex-AKP MP Ms. Pelin Gündeş AKP distributed a total of 8.8 million Turkish passports/citizenship to refugees and foreign real estate customers/investors. Out of 8,8 million 3,8 million are eligible for voting in the next elections. AKP plans to win 64 seats in the parliament with the help of those votes.

You can read the background here:

The point is many Pakistanis (and others) do see it as a slur used in negative connotation given the precedence and context of it in various areas.

It does have other original meaning/root and also has been rehabilitated by some Pakistanis....but its not 100% settled....so best be safe in its use.

General Arab populations in general dont like Ataturk very much; that is a well-known fact
Idk why you are surprised?

Irony is one of Ataturks closest associates was an Arab tribal leader who fought in the Turkish independance war and retired as a happy man in Turkiye itself.

Arabs hate of Ataturk was not just religious but also political due to him taking Hatay away.

I dont think Arabs in the Middle East are salty about the collapse of the Osmanli when they themselves celebrate it example Jordan celebrating 100 years of the Arab revolt.

I wont delve too much in this topic but let me brief you on some points:

Arabs hate for Ataturk is unfounded due to misinterpretation of history; Ataturk wasnt the one who destroyed the Ottoman empire but corruption, Western ambitions and above all Foolish Arabs who were guillible and idiotic enough to believe the West's beliefs that if they revolted against the Ottomans they will live in better conditions and create an "Arab" state

Deep inside, I think early on, Arabs threw the blame on Ataturk because they dont want to admit that they themselves are the main cause of the current plight they are in. As an example, lets take Palestine! The foolish Arabs in palestine believed the poisonous British ideas about independence and freedom to Arabs; thus, revolting against the Ottomans even though the Ottomans fought tooth ajd nail to protect Palestine. What is funny is that after the Palestinians got their independence the next nation to invade it was Britan itself, looooool😂. They weakened Palestine by kicking the Ottomans out and invaded the idiotic Arabs in order to move the Jews which Britain didnt want in their lands. Therefore, due to the foolishness and idiocity of the Arabs, they have thrown themselves (by their own hands) into despairn that will haunt them for Centuries....... and this is what is happening to this day

Seriously as much as the Arabs were gullible to revolt.

Turks were not going to rule these lands forever we were losing our rule slowly a lot of the Arabs already wanted to break away.

Not to mention the Arabs believed we kept them backwards and wanted us out for good.

We lost our sway not even Sharia, Caliphate and Muslim brotherhood could convince the Arabs to stay with the Empire.

Hm..... it is all about stability mate
The West never likes Muslims in general but the muslims and arabs do still flock to it because of stability
Nothing u can do about that since this is life

Sooner or later a major immigrant influx from Egypt will occur so do be prepared for that
Well, no, you can actually.

It's called blocking the entrance and saying, to paraphrase Australian s**tposters on the internet:

"F**k off, we're full."

Not the nicest thing to do but well within a nation's rights. Maybe enough countries saying no will teach them to stay and stand their ground for once.

In fact, it's been quite interesting watching the various differences in what happened when Ukraine went to hell and what happened when Afghanistan went to hell.
