Do you think Turkiye will get out of this mess in a near or distant future ? Personally I have no hope. They are already too many. Zafer partisi isn’t well known amongst elders. And even if they win, how will they proceed ? Deports them ? I don’t see how can the state deports 10 million people.

Unfortunately Turkiye will have to carry this huge burden for decades, or maybe forever, just because of incompetent politicians. For real what a freaking mess this is.

I can tell you that this is a very dangerous road to go and it won't stop unless people say enough! and do what Greece is doing. It has to stop before too late. It will lead to racism, frictions, unfortunate events, crime etc. Even if you stopped the flow, it is not easy to remove the ones already in. What happened to London is happening to Istanbul atm, I am afraid it will affect N. Cyprus as well but we are already fucked.

I will give you a glimpse of what N.Cyprus dealing. Currently 130k Turkish Cypriot remain in the island, after 74, around 50 K settler came from Turkey, even today there are frictions and integration problem between two culture. Currently 200-250 K settler from Turkey are living in TRNC, mainly from Hatay, Adana, and the others from Diyarbakır, Urfa, Trabzon Giresun, majority from Eastern provinces and recently some modern educated people running away from AKP, but majority from Hatay, arabs, then kurds, laz people and central Anatolian Turks. And none of them like each other, even people from Hatay have different groups and organizations.. So at least all these can speak Turkish have similar culture, lets see others, 50K Nigerians, 15-20 K other Africans, Angola , Somalia (majority men), 15k Russian, 10K Ukrainian (most of them are new and rising, it was 2k before), 15-20k British, 1-2K Nordic, Swedish Norwegian, 10-20 K Pakistani, Bangladesh (almost all men) , and and few Indians, Unknown number of Syrians.. Couple thousand Arab students, a lot of Filipinos (cheap labour) around people from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan at least 5 k (majority women), around 5k Iranians, (majority are either family or women).. It is like London, you can see people from everywhere, thousands of tourists just arrived, you can't see Turkish Cypriots on street.. You can't even see Turks working anywhere, most workers are turning to Pakistanis, Nigerians and Filipinos, Turks are working behind desk only. Majority of africans doing illegal things driving luxury cars around, drug dealers, smugglers, scammers, money launderers, especially Nigerians (no offense).. Accidents are skyrocketing, crime skyrocketing, illegal economy rising, every couple of weeks a body being found somewhere, if it is not a Turk nobody cares, racism rising, tension rising. That illegal economy damaging local small shop owners, some bankrupt some get richer.. It looks like poor man's Dubai but locals are disappearing. Culture shock and cultural variety together, some clubs dominated by black people some Turkish, some Russian.

Can you imagine the burden, a population crushing under triple, quadruple size bigger population of other cultures.. Currently Turkiye has how many ? 5 million? and it is unbearable, they take jobs, they affect culture, they cause friction, crime, and integration takes decades, even second, third generation has problems to integrate. Lets say you stopped this at 5 million, what about children, in 10 years they will become 10 million. I saw it with my eyes, an immigrant family came with 3 children (5 ppl), the lady gave birth to others every year they become 10, when their mother stopped, first children started to marry at early age and have kids. We were 4 back than, and still 4, they are 30 now.

These people will have kids, they will have citizenship eventually, they will have a political party, they will affect elections someday just like North Cyprus. The ones living in camps are may be not getting citizenship but some others will eventually get. What if Syrians taking majority in Hatay or Urfa demand autonomy like Kurds in 20 or 30 years? This is a threat to national security.. outsiders should never become majority in one province.

Pakistani's are just Indians but with another religion.

I still NEVER understand what our Gendarmeries and border guards are doing. They are protecting the borders of Idlib and Afrin better than the borders of the Republic.

We must build our own Antlantikwall at the borders against these orchestrated masses like the Germans did in 1939 at the European west-coast, because i dont believe that these incoming refugees are un-controlled.

The US, Israel or Iran or Russia are behind this; break down a strong country by drowning it with hordes of zombies.

AKP are behind it, not a country a thousands kilometers away. Erdogan thought he could use these people to get more votes and use them as a leverage against Greece / EU. In reality he ended up flooding Turkiye which will undeniably alter the future of the country.

I think Erdogan is also behind earthquakes and sandstorms.

The worst part is that AKP subsidizes Syrians to increase their population. Syrians get monetary aid per child and parents also get paid. Syrian social aid;
Free hospitals
Free education, university education without an exam or a different very light exam.
Child money for parents per child that is under 18 years old.
Parents also get paid. Mother and father are both paid separately.
Syrian university students are paid a monthly allowance
Municipalities distribute free food and market goods or give debit cards that can be used to buy food and market goods.

In two generations there will be 15-20 million Syrians a healthy portion of them will be university graduates.

This is what the opposition and social media trolls said, but most of this is debunked and not true. There are no laws or documents that can justify these claims.

Syrians here in Elazig are working in construction of bakery. They dont pay less rent or less electricity because they are Syrian.

Turkish treasury already spent billions in North Syria, there is no cent left to give everything for free to Syrians living in Turkey.

Cut the monthly payments/social benefits, make them pay taxes and they will fight each other for bus tickets, you think those people will live even for 2 months like the average exploited Turk?

All of them are true.

Thats not true. There is not 1 law or legislation or document that proofs what you are claiming. Its said on social media and that way it got a own life.

Like that quote from Atatürk about Saudi Arabia or that quote from JFK about Israel. They never said such things.

It doesn't work that way. They are paid via civilian organizations but the state pays it.

Like domestic NGO's. But its important here how much the Turkish state donates and how much civillian philantropists/firms donate.

Turkish state spent around 90 billion if we take interest rate into account Turkish state has to pay over 100 billion $. This includes education, health services, food aid, rent aid, fuel aid, wages of officials, and civilian servants in Turkish-controlled Syrian zones. etc. so it is a total amount that also includes cash payments like the one I posted above. The average yearly spending is 9 billion $.

This is only state money not counting charity from NGOs that goes to inside and outside of Turkey.

The only NGO I know of that works for the betterment of Turkish people is Tümyad.

All the aid and projects we do outside could go on feeding Turkish people. But the ummah lovers brag about projects outside when there is Turkish people in need while even in there own religion charity starts at home.

Like Ozdag said, we are seeing the impact of global warming and civil strife in countries along the belt of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Middle East and North Africa.

We need to prepare for when the Afghanistan - Pakistan issue gets worse. We will see influxes of more people coming from these deprived countries if we don't act now.

Each wave will make the last seem good, as we are seeing first Syrians but Afgans and Pakistanis made people think Syrians are civilised in comparison.

Please note that no racial hatred or attack on a nation or generalisation as such is allowed in the forum.
Most of the Turkish members may have anti refugee feelings. But that should not detract from being civil or non aggressive and non-hateful.
Please choose to use language that would be in line with forum rules.

Turkey should not have stopped the refugees in their country, they should have opened the borders and let them go to norther and western europe. Problem will be solved and nice revenge on the europeans for supporting PKK against Turkey. Why the hell are you guys still keeping the borders closed, open it and let the refugees go to europe by the 10s of thousands. Also when the refugees taunt women or even rape them, why don't you guys take them and beat them to death on the street for everyone to see?
I would talk but I don't want to get banned permamenlty this time.
