But you are all from the same religion...Why there is so much of noise for such issues?

Religion means nothing. Turks and Arabs hate each other.

Turks are pretty much racist themselves as much they dont want to admit it.

Same story for Arabs.

We tend to think white people are the only racists. While ignoring racism in every part of the world.

India also has a racism problem even if people are the same religion.

This video opens my eyes. Lets not forget how in Islamic tradition that Iblis aka Satan was the first racist who due to its arrogant hate of Adam the first human. Iblis was created from fire while Adam was made from clay and mud. Iblis believed he was superior.

Its sounds like someone drowning go learn chagatai rather than that disgusting language tbh

You are allowing bias to cloud your judgement.

Even if you dislike Arabs or hate them. But calling their language ugly or disgusting is not true.

You have 300 million Arabic speakers while Arabic language has influenced languages from Turkish, Spanish, Persian, Kurdish, Kazakh, Malaysian, Indonesian, Hindi and Urdu.

Any person who studied history cant ignore the impact of Arabic language just like with Spanish, French and English.

Here is another fun fact. Azerbaijani is actually more closer to Ottoman Turkish then Turkish itself.

The Azerbaijanis never removed the Arabic and Persian loanwords even under the Soviet rule. Soviets never had a language movement to clean any kind of foreign words in Russian whichever place the Soviets ruled.

Removed yeah you still have Arabic words in Turkish.

Suggests the movement to clean foreign words has ended in failure.

You cant remove centuries of exchange overnight.

I dont see any wrong with foreign word loans.

Whats the point in cleaning out foreign words when your alphabet is foreign?

Arabic was foreign same with Latin. None of the Turks or the Turkic countries bothered to revive the old Turkic alphabet. Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan chose Latin even if they rejected Cyrillic they still went to a foreign alphabet.

I agree there.

Official language of Turkiye is Turkish.

Also I agree seeing other languages apart from Turkish disgraceful. I know people are gonna a use the globalism or tourism bs as an argument.

Seriously man. Whichever place you live in you have to learn the language. If not dont bother living there.

We should have Turkified all the places we conquered.

We would have had 400 million Turkish speakers.

😡

Missed oportunity. Arabic, French, Spanish and English became widespread because they conquered and colonised.

We conquered but never imposed our language. Missed opportunity just because we preferred getting tribute.

It hurts how Russians have like 100 to 200 million speakers while Turkish is just 80 million.

While Portuguese has like 250 million speakers.

Imagine if the Ottomans imposed Turkish on the Balkans we would have had like 100 million speakers.

I know it will be hard to replace Turkish with Arabic in the Middle East but if we had imposed Turkish. Turkish could have become an official co language alongside Arabic. Look at all thr countres the Russians ruled, Russia is an official co language.

Israel would have had Turkish as an official.

But you are all from the same religion...Why there is so much of noise for such issues?

Most of the ummah see Turks a secular kafirs, Turks are only considered Muslim by Pakistanis and the likes when Turkey is supporting them.

I am tired of Turkey voicing unconditional support for Pakistan when Pakistan never goes to the same lengths. Turkey has supported Pakistan 100% more then Pakistan has supported Turkey. Same for other Muslim countries.

Time to look out for our own interests first, recent trend has shown us how different we are.

Finally although some of us share the same religion, our culture, world view, politics is very different. Turks have had diverse, long lasting uninterupted states whereby our political, cultural identity and understanding has developed over time into something unique to us.

Countries like Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan have never really had time out from being governed by other peoples or conflict. They are still experimenting with forming an identity hence why cling onto false identities that do not belong too them or work elsewhere in the world, Pakistan is a great example.

Hence you see the disappointment in Pakistanis online, they think they can get away with crimes simply for being Muslim "brothers" of Turks, blame Indians for "propaganda", or blame Turks for being "racist", they forget you have to learn and act like a human first to be accepted in the world.

No Turks are not racist. You don't know what racism is. No Turk claims he/she is superior to some other people because of his/her DNA or claims superiority because of being a Turk. That is what Europeans/orientalists do (even in this age)

Hating Greeks or Armenians doesn't mean you are a racist. Claiming you are superior because of your DNA and because you are a Turk is racism(or claiming a specific race is inferior).

So that means if i hate Pakistanis, but ofcourse i dont claim superiority to them on basis of race and dna BS
Doesn't make me a racist ?
Am I right or wrong
That doesn't make you a racist as you don't claim your race is superior to other races or target race is inferior to other races. Racism is a specific hate crime.

But there are other hate crimes against religion, disability, sexual orientation, etc. You can still commit a hate crime without being a racist.
