Who made infographics are not the same who made the products
No, the people who made the graphic are the same people who made the "engine" because 465 inch was quite literally written on the display in Saha Expo and could be seen on the photos. Sure, it is a typo, but it is utterly embarrassing because they had time to come up with these information cards themselves and still fucked it up.

And I've got a fucking bridge to sell anyone who believes in that engine. Slightly used but in a great location in Istanbul.

There is no news about Gezgin?
I would be expecting that they were going to show a mock-up or something like that so far.

- No news about Gezgin

- No news about Cenk

- No demonstration about TF3500, even as a mock up level

and someone come out and say 6000 km of a missile and a 42.5k engine, for a country which does not possess nuclear warhead and has not produced turbofan engine. We will be able get there of course, but now?

Especially that engine. Who the one with a right mind can believe "with a handful people" can create such an engine? As Ziya Paşa says "Do you think the world is blind and the people is foolish?". With what right someone undermining our other companies' honest work at SAHA EXPO and affect negatively of credibility and reputation of our entire defence industry. What the hell is going on here?

I have never felt embarrased this much about our industry since the days of "erke dönergeci".

Well said, I have the exact same opinion as yours. MSB R&D are not to be taken serious according to some respectable members. But that shit show is still going to left a bad mark to the entire industry. Anyways, I hope we will get some good news about other stuff in the coming days / weeks.

Proper Iran vibes. I don't understand why a country like Turkiye whose shown very real projects and successes would need to pull something like this. Doesnt make any sense.

Actually makes sense when you think about the past few weeks. Von der Layen blunder, Greece up the ante encouraged by EU and Israel, Israel systematically defaming Turkey and painting it as the next evil enemy of the West.
My guess, they, in a very amateurish fashion, staged this farce.

I believe we should look at this from a wider angle, not only as an embarrassing gaff of propaganda.
This looks more of show of military muscle as a political tool for some certain actors.
And here’s some reaction from one certain actor

Surely Isreal and others will know its a farce. Likewise Isreal will use it to beat the war drums that Turkiye is indeed a threat. No different to how a small arab nation like iraq was turned into a massive threat for the united states.

Dumb stunt to pull and in the long run it works to damage the credibility of the entire defence industry that had built up an exceptional status globally.

We go down this "iran" route where our people are so easily fooled that any piece of shit can be put in front of them and they rejoice and we will find ourselves big losers like the iranians find themselves today.

Did this cross my mind. Maybe it's some veiled message to Israel or others? I mean, it's the only explanation I can think of.
But, deep down I am hoping we're playing some sort of 4D Chess and we do have something to surprise but doing this cringe show into thinking we're being Iran 2?
I am clutching at straws I guess.. but who knows.

Guys, I honestly think MSB R&D is nothing more than an Iranian-style, shamelessly immoral "initiative" cooked up just to harvest votes from confused electors. I really don't know if they needed to go this far; last year, they showed up with similarly "interesting" and arguably irrelevant products from completely unrelated fields of expertise.

When I visited their booth to ask for information, the guy there had the nerve to tell me they were working "quietly and behind the scenes." I am truly ashamed on behalf of the decision-makers who for whatever reason are willing to risk casting a shadow over the institutions and individuals who actually put in the sweat and hard work, and by extension, the entire country. As a citizen, I’m beyond frustrated at being treated like a fool by fools, and I sincerely hope this is the last year we see this.

CHANGE MY MIND, (Please?)... :(

P.S. Not to forget, while the questions in the public's mind are obvious, there isn't a peep from those funded, so-called "media monkeys" who blast news on X and every other platform the second a public institution does a launch. For God's sake, step up and ask about these contradictions if it’s a "secret project," what is it doing at an expo? If the cards are on the table, then why all this mystery? I’d say at least say something subtle to put people's minds at ease, but it seems there's nothing to say! And when you write about these things, those jobless frauds even monitor the forums just to block you on X.

This is the only thing that doesn't make sense and has me scratching my head. If the aim is to show others we're this and that. why the hell reveal for all the world to see?
