I know we've discussed this topic a lot, but it seems that it comes back over and over again.

Here are the facts of Sakarya Arifiye Tank Pallet Factory ...

All kinds of inspection authority regarding Arifiye Tank Pallet Factory is under the Ministry of National Defense . Tank studies started in the 2000s, ALTAY Tank Design and Prototype Production started between 2012-2015, and 5 prototypes were produced. BMC A.Ş. and the Defense Industry Presidency signed a contract for the mass production of the tank. Mass production of 250 tanks will be carried out. Arifiye Tank Pallet Factory will continue to serve the Turkish Armed Forces and contribute more to the country's economy by modernizing it with the cooperation of the private sector and the public in accordance with the requirements of the age . On the other hand, Sakarya Arifiye Tank PalletIn his factory; It was reported that 281 Storm Howitzers were produced and the storm howitzers were used in Operation Peace Spring .

1. AKP leased the Tank 'Palet' Factory (TPF) to BMC free of charge for 30 years or so in exchange for modernizing the facilities.

2.TPF is very old, and it's used to modernize and maintain armoured vehicles. It had no outstanding debts as I know it, so every job done would make money.

3. 281 Firtina was built in TPF (https://www.ahaber.com.tr/gundem/2020/11/29/iste-sakarya-arifiye-tank-palet-fabrikasi-gercekleri)

Ethem Sancak owner of BMC joined a TV program an explained about the Altay tank and the deal made, plus many other topics in 19. december 2019.

A follow up interview "Where are Altay MBT, when are they going to come" 4. december 2020.

These factories and repair plants one of the most important part of feedback mechanism for a better ecosystem to develop land systems.

I wouldn't mind private or even foreign investment if it was done by a company who actually has experience in land systems

Feedback of land systems we get from military operations are very valuable. With the right vision these military owned factories etc. have much more potential of helping Turkish land systems become much more better and competitive in the international market.
