is it millimeter wave radar seeker that was presented before or a new one ? are these slots for aesa antenas or it is just pesa seeker like the old ones ?

Likely MMW seeker since that's the area in which Meteksan excels at.

Been asking for this nearly for 5 years.. finally.

Hybrid seeker has been around for some time, it was featured in one of Meteksan's quarterly journals but information and updates since have been scarce. Good to see it pop up during Mete Yarar's visit to Meteksan.

this is for Siper, i assume?
No. Most likely, it is for cruise missiles. If IIR seeker put on siper it won't survive the heating long enough to hit the target.

No, Sipers seeker is developed by Aselsan.

At this point in time, there is no information on whether Meteksan's will be used in any missile. However, they've shown that they are capable of developing seekers.

At this point in time, there will be Four Turkish companies that can develop seekers;

-Roketsan
-Aselsan
-Meteksan
-TUBITAK SAGE

As I recall, the hybrid seeker issue was last seen in the Çakır Missile.

Turkish ?

If Meteksan's hybrid seeker consists of laser and imagine ir as mentioned, my experience tells me that this seeker is made for Air / Ground bomb Guidance kits. Laser detector means hitting a target marked with a laser on the ground. The Turkish defense industry has so far used laser targeting for this task. Could it be innovation? It's possible.

In the RF part, it can be used to passively search for radar, radio, datalink transmitters on the ground.

IT IS VERY UNLIKELY. the low cost drone doesnt need an expensive seeker to perform its mission.

A single company should produce seeker. All work should be given to whoever did the best. Those who are dealing with that job in the other company should be transferred to that company.

Energy, time and money are wasted. SSB is still unable to do its job of guiding and organizing.

If a private company is willing to invest its own money into developing seeker technology, then good for them - SSB has no business in their business.
