pay attention to how the americans, westerners are framing Turkiye. Syria isnt about PKK or terrorism, or instability or refugee issue. They are framing it about Turks wanting to invade and conquer lands. This is intentional, it is yet again a process of deligitimisation being conducted against the Turks in the region.

Mr Hakan Fidan has warned that if the YPG/PKK don't lay down arms, an military operation will be inevitable. (I'm paraphrasing)
Now I don't believe that they will lay down arms mainly because they're absolutely sure that the US and EU are "on their side" or actually because they control vast oil fields which is what the west really cares about.
I wonder if Mr Fidan will follow up and back his words when we'll be facing reality of confronting US in Syria, especially when Mr Trump seems to be eager to sew chaos in the world. (He wants to annex Greenland, Panama and Canada, which could be funny and at the same time terrifying).

I have seen several tweets yesterday of how Trump is saying he asked RTE not to attack the Kurds and then we didn't.
In my opinion that kind of talk indicates that Trump has been talked into staying in Syria.
I think we need to take those oil fields from PKK and need to do it fast and hard, mercilessly. without oil Trump won't tolerate having to stay in Syria because US would have to finance the terrorists.

I already said it before to never trust Trump as he is weak against the deep state and the deep state wants the US to stay in Syria to spread chaos within the region. I said it before and I will say it again, the US wont stay quiet and watch its 30-years long project go to waste
The SDF will slowly fill the areas of contact with civilians so that Turkey and its allies wont be able to attack. Meanwhile, Turkey has been saying verbal threats for the last 30 days without no action to support those claims

I think Erdoğan knows that if an operation starts there will be more sanctions. I think we won't see any action. Just talk talk talk. Unless Trump withdraws, nothing will happen.

Since five years at least the same old statements „we will come suddenly one night!“ This is not a joke anymore, it is sad and shameful. They have missed a golden opportunity to take nord east Syria. Now it‘s too late. And they actually managed to make a prime enemy out of Israel. This is much more dangerous for Turkey, I think they dont realise what they did. Until recently Israel‘s view of the PKK state in nord Syria was rather „nice-to-have“ because although it is a benefit to them, it wasnt essential. Now that they were provoked by our government, we have now an omnipotent enemy. Amazing how a country is governed to ruin. Israel now will make sure that Turkey will never be able to do the same with them as they did in Karabagh. This was the most unfortunate statement, practically sealing the fate of Turkey unless there is a regime change soon.
