According to the agreement signed with Turkish Air Force, TAI should start MMU deliveries in 2029. There will be no double seat version.
Yeah, this is old news. TAI has to deliver the first MMU in 2029 at the latest according to the contract. This is the airforce requirement but that doesn't stop them to deliver the first fighter earlier. I think TAI will deliver the first fighter earlier than 2029.

TAI TF-X everybody. Hydraulic tests will commence at 17.00 today. Engine integration was done in 2 hours like aforementioned. Fuel system tests were also successful. GTU-0 will make her maiden flight at the end of 2023.

A fittingly Turkish nose for our big boy. I think this jumbo size will be advantageous in the future. The NGAD is purportedly massive, so even though the TF-X might not be a direct competitor, it will have plenty of space for similar futuristic wunderwaffe—especially if we miniaturize existing systems and have domestic engines with the required power generation capabilities.

To sum up today's historic event: 🇹🇷
  • All structural elements of the first prototype of the National Combat Aircraft have been completed

  • The fuel and hydraulic of TF-X were integrated into the aircraft.

  • The tests of the fuel system have been completed, the hydraulic tests began today.

  • Landing gear arrived 2 weeks ago and fitted.

  • Its engines were integrated in just 2 hours! Instead of the 2 days that was expected.

  • A big ceremony is expected in April.

  • F110-GE-129E are expected to be used in the first 2 fleets

  • It's aimed to switch to national engines afterwards.

  • 1,200 engineers are working on TF-X, the number will rise to 2,500.

  • Its radar will be 'very powerful', it will be able to see targets very far away.

  • There are export requests, but no details are given for now.

  • According to the agreement signed with the Turkish Air Force, TAI will start TF-X deliveries in 2029.

  • 'No need' for double version.

  • If the pilot faints, the plane will be able to return base and land on his own.

  • TF-X's CDR will be completed before the maiden flight, end of 2023.

TFX will not have gun , so what will happen if enemy aircraft comes too closse ? Since aircraft fly at supersonic speeds and is easy to encounter each other just few meter away . Both F22 and SU57 have guns but China J20 dont , there are news that J20 will aslo upgraded with gun .
I was thinking something different if is possible u can tell me.....
Building very small missiles like half of Cirit for very closse AA fight and mount 20 ot them insted of Gun . Aslo if is possible the big problem in dogfight for a pilot is when enemy gets behind you and shoot at u so is possible to plase some AA missiles backward and shoot at enemy in back 🤣.
Since TFX will have radar in tail so is possible i think .

Given wings are that back, where is the center of mass and lift?

Your idea applied at Soviet time
I find a document and translation. Also I remember a document about it because of relative speed effect it is inefficient.

"Reverse launch rocket with combined aerogasdynamic control
The missile is being developed on the basis of the R-73 missile and is intended for arming frontline, bomber, transport and anti-submarine aircraft. Provides protection for the rear hemisphere of the aircraft carrier.
Launches in the direction opposite to the flight direction of the carrier aircraft.
The missile ensures the destruction of air targets day and night, in the presence of natural and organized interference, against the background of the earth and water surfaces. Does not impose restrictions on the initial launch conditions, implements the "fire and forget" principle.

Technical characteristics of the "reverse" launch rocket
Launch weight, 115 kg
Length, 3.2 m
Diameter, 0.17 m
Wingspan, 0.404 m
Flight altitude of targets hit, 0.05 km minimum, 13 km maximum
Launch range, 1 km min, 10-12 maximum
Guidance: passive IR
Targeting angles: 60°
Qarhead weight: 7.4 kg

Provides target acquisition on a trajectory according to target designation from a rear-view radar.
Providing a controlled flight of a rocket with angles a f = 180 ° ... 90 ° in the "reverse" flight (V <0) using a gas-dynamic control system. It is used from the rail APS.
No analogues are known.
Development status: Stage of axial processing.
Launches from Su-27 aircraft to M <1 and M> 1 were carried out"

TF-X's CDR will be completed before the maiden flight.
That means the CDR will also be done around a year earlier. Though if we think about it twice, considering that the PDR must have been completed last year, it really isn't all that strange that the program will reach CDR status a year later or in other words, this year, 2023.

Actually, I think the recently revealed revised schedule of first flight this year makes quite a lot of sense as long as TAI could manage the risks. Since there are quite a difference between the time when the major avionics will be ready (still a few years left) and when the plane itself will be ready, (this very year) getting the plane in air and do flight tests that doesn't necessarily need sensors mean it could save time that would've otherwise been lost waiting for the key avionics. They could just equip them with ballasts to simulate the equipment mass which is common practice in aircraft development.

Though I wouldn't say this is risk free, since a significant change in critical design before or during CDR would mean some flight test will have to be re-done, increasing total development costs and potentially time. Though I think TAI, Aselsan and others will be able to manage such.
