Kaan means khagan, not khan. Khagan means khan of khans.
Khan(Han)= King level ruler
Khagan (Kaan, Hakan, Kağan)= Khan of Khans emperor level ruler.
No. it means same. But it was created different era of turkic language / mongol language that gets extra meaning. it all originated from ḳaġan/χaġan/χān.. Similar like

Timur/tegi / temir/ demir/ teymour/ etc etc.

Seriously?
What does it mean though?
Think Genghis Khan for historical connection. Others have translated Khan/Kaan but the full name translates to brave/strong/unbeatable leader/Emporer/ruler in Turkish.
Both Cengiz and Kaan are very common names in Turkey, although the combined Cengiz Kaan is unusual.

TAI systems in the ceramony area:

ANKA
AKSUNGUR
ANKA-3
2 different Şimşek variants

ATAK T-129
GOKBEY
ATAK-2
T70

F-16 ÖZGÜR
AIR SOJ

KAAN
HURJET

And projects that are still in the design phase and not yet in the ceremonial area.

TAI is on its way to becoming the largest military aviation company in the geography between the USA and China. TAI's product range, from micro systems to combat jets, which are at the cutting edge of this field, makes it the Lockheed of Europe. There is only one gap left in the company's aviation systems product range, and news about it will probably come around 2024-2025.

Kaan is a fearsome word.

Turkic armies were known for mobility and striking the enemy where ever they were with lighting strike speed.

This jet represents hit the enemy where they least expect and be the nightmare.

Kağan is the correct spelling but we can think of the word as a stylized version of it used for practical purposes while actually Turkish language does not use double vowels like aa. I like it.

Also, Hava-SOJ looks to be in the same state as it was 2 years ago. No external sensors added as of Today..

Well according to the article Project started at 2018 and supposed to continue for 5 years. Other than that i dont have any info on this.

Kagan/Kaan is the native word in all member states of the Organisation of Turkic States. It is also a native word in the hinterland of these states and in the states that also harbour Turkic culture.

I think the choice of Kaan also gives a message in itself. I don't know if the dropping of the letter G is related to the logo, but in the end, when you say Kaan from the Pacific to the Adriatic, only one thing comes to mind.

There are things which is not only related to logic.
Kağan is correct for Turkiye language, but there is issue. This fighter will be part of other nations. This fighter name have to be suitable to be pronounce in english. This fighter name have to inspire other nations All Turks, All friendly by history, All allied also nations which hate Turks. There for all know word "Kaan".

Conclusion is that Kaan is Turk word and all other nations know this word.

- last decade Wikipedia shows as not reliable sources because of many reasons.
- if we speak academically the Kagan mentioned in orhun inscription which is in 8 th century or 7th. it is Turkic. But for academical reasons and sources. The Khan also mentions very earlier in sogd titles. Which is why it's believed as a collective word or still not declared as Turkic origin. For example, the word Tengri believed to be origin or Sumerian dingir.

So i presented as Academical factor by that definition you can claim as Turkic but saying as only Turkic is not very academical.

Anything Turkish related on wikipedia comes under constant attack primarily from greeks, armenians and persians.
