I have a question and its purely due to ignorance and not flame baiting or something.
How do you develop a simulator for a plane that hasnt made its maiden flight yet? I mean a simulator is supposed to simulate certain flight characteristics of a specific plane so how did they develop without knowing those variables yet?
They do know the variables. Hence the existence of the simulator to begin with. You can model your pre-existing designs on the simulator and gather genuine data by performing flight tests on the simulated environment. The Hürjet team was performing flight tests in the sim at a time when the assembly jigs were getting prepared. You do get to fly experimental aircraft (that don't exist in real life) on flight simulators don't you? It essentially revolves around the same idea.

Can someone help me understand the weapon bay, I see it but I don't quite get the dimensions. It's one large bay but the bulkheads seem to be very big so how is gonna munition fit? Is this just because it's early prototype or am I seeing wrong because of angle
Two tandem bays coupled with two sidebays. The area is vast, but design activities are still ongoing as we speak.

According to SSB and Mr Kotil’s past statements on the prototype issues, there were 5 prototypes of Hurjet being built from day one (these included the ground test units); And there will be 14 KAAN prototypes built before serial production of Block 10 are in the pipeline. 2 of these 14 will be supported by the indigenous engines. According to Mr Kotil, these last 2 prototype KAANs will be ready by 2028. Unless new numbers have been mentioned this was the status quo as far as I remember.
It has to be remembered that for some of these 14; the newer prototypes will only be built after feedback is received following tests the already built ones have undergone and provided data.

Does anybody know if additional prototypes are being built for KAAN and Hurjet at the moment?
Part production of two prototypes have begun. Next year around this time we will see them fully assembled according to an interview from TAI. If I can find it I will add it later.

@MADDOG can probably answer it more precisely though.

Georgio Clementi: "A historic day at Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). The first day of the first ever test pilot and flight test engineer course to be held in Türkiye. Twelve students from TAI, the Turkish Air Force, Directorate General Civil Aviation and ASELSAN commenced their journey to a career flight testing fixed wing civil and military aircraft, such as the Hurkus, Hurjet and TF-X National Fighter in the background. Turkish Flight Test Instructors Murat Ozpala and Emre Can Kaya joined the ITPS instructor team setting yet another first for this initiative. The course marks the launch of ITPS Türkiye, the satellite training organization of the International Test Pilots School (ITPS) under a partnership agreement with TAI. TAI is Türkiye's national aircraft manufacturer boasting a growing product line of advanced fixed and rotary wing aircraft. ITPS is the world's biggest independent school of flight testing, now operating two campuses, in Canada and Turkey."

I whish we could have name the plane "LEKELI".
Imagine enemies planes radioing to each other: "two Lekeli's approaching" and our planes have battle markings of how many planes it took down so far.

Right now we sound like Pakistani Airforce two Kaan's approaching.

-The aircraft is currently on her nose and wing jacks. I believe this is the first time we've seen her in such a state after she was initially lowered onto her landing gears months ago.

-Gets to show how large the forward fuselage is. It becomes strikingly clear that the canopy will be comfortable enough for the pilot once you get up close and personal with it (the outer metallic bits are really not fun to touch). The enclosed area is vast. As a direct result, the cockpit is also really easy to navigate around.

Here is the video. Seems to have been taken just before the section 18/19 delivery ceremony.
