using Germany's money for this
How do we use Germany's money? Did the Germans give money to the project? Is the money left by immigrants who went there from Turkey while on holiday or their personal investments here belonging to Germany? So this cannot be the individual will of immigrant German citizens. Apparently the Nazi mentality never changes!

Are we being serious here? Like why are we taking some 3rd tier magazine's random article and some idiots online comments as representation of the whole nation?

They are talking about german money for turkey wich is for some other purpose..

there are several big cases of money wasting like germans paying 300 mil Euros for bicycle roads like in Peru and Africa or development assistance for China and India they are spending Mrd Euros for stupid things around the world while their own people are exploited and have increase in cost of living..

Some Pensinior have to search in waste for food there are cases where they even gave them punishment for "stealing" waste.. Or some are out for begging money in the public or some try to earn money by collecting deposit bottles wich the german government again tries to Interrupt it by making it illegal without taxing it or they want the Supermarkts to have a Limit of 5 Euro for each person..

So people are pissed off and that is mixing with General hate against turks wich is also pushed and fuled by government and USA France and England..

For Germany if you think otherwise than you are deluded by over good thinking.. Don't expect something good from germans..

If a friend of ours can make a gif of this video, it would make it easier for us to end the discussion in a fun way by just putting this gif instead of commenting on some of them.

For some time now, I have only been looking at the news and discussion topics of interest in the foreign press and media. It is really enjoyable to read how those who have been mocking and insulting for more than a year have shifted into R gear, or how a smaller minority continues to cry. KAAN has renewed his ablution with the tears of its haters.

And our altin kuş is finally flying.. 🥰

From the beginning of this project we had been following it, we saw all the obstacles and remember how we wished to see it fly..
It was like waiting for centuries. I bet many of us wished that their fathers could see this project succeed.. For me that wish came true!

We all have been attacked by all sides by haters laughing mocking acting as aerospace engineers, still we belived, no we knew it would succeed!

Personally the last years were really exciting and we got more and more projects finished or seen succesfull! I don't know how they want to keep up with the last years if they do the same speed many will die of heart attack some of envy some of exitement 😘
And if they lower the speed of new accomplishments we sure get angry.. Our engineers pamper us like little children 😃

Congrats to All our engineers and everyone who was involved in that historical masterpiece this day should be a new national holiday in turkey 🥰

Wooow🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
KAAN will be delivered before 2028 everyone!👌👌👌👌
TAI is doing the bloody impossible..... those people are beasts

THE STONES ARE FALLING INTO THEIR PLACE...
Temil KOTIL: We aim to deliver 20 KAANs to the Air Force by 2028 and to be able to produce 2 units per month with domestic engines.
Mahmut AKŞİT: We are preparing for mass production of helicopter engines, only aircraft engines remain. Our TEI-TF6000 aircraft engine is almost finished. We will run it soon

Just as a footnote: Turkish Companies Like BİTES (you can read it ASELSAN) and Alp Havacılık are/will soon be important players in Digital tiwin technology.
Not capable of making a substitute for Dassault or Siemens for such technologies. Unfortunately digital twin is a corrupted term that i can make you a "digital twin" tomorrow on the Excel. Flight simulators are also a digital twin, or Simulink like control environments.

Thanks for your valuable contribution and for the elaboration of the concept guess we may have some steps in the right direction eventhough the title is a bit too much motivated :devilish:

Turkish technology company BİTES assumes important responsibilities in the studies carried out on "digital twin" in Europe.

"Digital twin", which is a virtual copy of a real product, process, system or facility, is among the technologies that will change the way we interact with the world.

Digital twins, which are considered to have a great impact on existing products and markets, are expected to move to the "early majority" stage in the next 3-6 years.

Digital twin monitors systems and analyzes them in real time, prevents problems before they occur by creating events that are unlikely to occur in real life or that are dangerous by creating them in a digital environment and providing feedback to the system, analyzing the work of people and machines to detect ineffective steps in the processes and providing feedback for improvement. It has potential usage areas such as providing Additionally, in advanced digital twins, the real system is automatically improved.

This technology, which increases productivity, quality and efficiency, engineering efficiency and reduces operating costs, is used in many areas such as automotive, aviation and space, health, renewable energy, city management and production.

One of the areas where digital twins are used effectively is the defense industry. Examples of uses in the defense industry include improving hardware/platform production processes, running a digital twin for each platform in the field (such as F35, Mars Rover), providing preventive maintenance by collecting data from platforms/systems, and sharing preventive maintenance information between platforms.

A digital twin is created on the ground with the data collected from the platform. Before sending a command to the platform, the result of the command can first be tested on the digital twin on the ground. For preventive maintenance, detailed data can be extracted from the maintenance sensors on the post-flight platform and fed to the digital twin. Every platform in the manned/unmanned land, air and sea domain can be developed and optimized by running digital twins.

ASELSAN's subsidiary, the Turkish defense and technology company BITES Defense Aviation and Space Technologies Yazılım Elektronik Ticaret AŞ, has also been carrying out R&D studies on digital twin recently.

Exchanging ideas and collaborating with local/foreign stakeholders from different fields such as energy, aviation, plastic injection and health, the company focuses on developing application frameworks and tools for the rapid and cost-effective development of digital twins.

BİTES received the approval of the ITEA Cluster, where Europe's leading industry players meet, with its two projects.

The "TiDiT-Timeline Driven Digital Twin" projects, which are led within the scope of the project calls of the ITEA Cluster, which operates with a focus on software innovation under the umbrella of Eureka, one of the leading platforms of the European Union (EU) ecosystem, and the "VESTA - Proactive Protection Against Phishing-Based Ransomware" projects, which are partners, were realized. As a result of the applications, ITEA secretariat and TÜBİTAK successfully completed the evaluation processes.

ITEA is one of Europe's innovative and industry-focused programs and also plays an active role in the development of competitive sectors. BİTES made its national applications to the TEYDEB 1509 Program as the last stage of the process.

The Time-Axis Digital Twin Project, with a budget of 14 million euros, will be carried out by a consortium consisting of 17 partners from 5 countries: Turkey, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal and Slovenia.

At the end of the project, it is aimed to develop a time-oriented TiDiT Digital Twin platform that will enable better decision-making in business processes. Project partners include Philips Medical Systems Nederland B.V., TNO, Almende, Total Reality, Eindhoven University, Yazzoom, SISTRADE, ISEP Institute, Caretronic, Alp Aviation, Innova, Panasonic Life Solutions, Bewell Technology, which stands out with its health and smart production technologies.

"We aim to become an important player"

BİTES General Manager Uğur Coşkun said that the current digital twin services in the market cannot fully meet customer needs, prevent unexpected malfunctions and offer cost-effective models.

Coşkun also pointed out that end users had to install each simulation using different software, and stated that this created negativities in terms of cost, time and labor usage.

Coşkun said:

"By bringing together different software capabilities while meeting customer needs through the application of innovative technologies, the TiDiT Project aims to create a model timeline-oriented digital twin platform-as-a-service to enable a better decision-making process and increase situational awareness. Such an international consortium in an emerging technology field "We attach importance to leadership. We aim to become an important player both in Turkey and internationally by strengthening our muscles in digital twin with such projects."

Not really as RAM provides the final steps after what shaping has done in major way first. Shaping is by far the major bulk of the RCS reduction exercise in 5th gen.

So I was talking about the shaping aspect and its measurement as it exists in this stage of Kaan's dev....in this case a flight would provide a substantial first look into the relevant far field measurement verification if desired and planned by the relevant teams.

Simulations are good and all, but nothing beats field testing. Simulations themselves are based and calibrated a huge degree on data from field tests.

So there is plenty to take caution about (and likewise measure whenever possible) with the shaping side at this stage well before final RAM stages.

I've chatted about it with @Anmdt before:

Folks that are interested can find more extensive literature on the subject themselves, here is one that does a small summary:

Flight would increase the distance available compared to the ground facilities....and also be able to use more types of real world radars.

There is definite scope to do these in tests before and after RAM itself.
I disagree. Simulations will provide good results. It is not like a simulation result and real measurement results will differ a lot. Even amateurs can make decent calculations. Experts can do really precise calculations. I don't think engineers at Dassault or LM will have any problem calculating the RCS of naked KAAN very precisely with the tools/software at their hands.

I hate, HATE, knee-jerk reactions of LAZY, stupid people "Not possible, We can't..."
I complained about this centuries old inferiority complex of ours a lot.
ANYTHING is possible. ANYTHING they can do we can do better if we put our minds to it as an entire nation.
TÜRKİYE OFFICIALLY is one of the most elite 4 nations on the planet Earth, that was able to produce a 5th gen fighter indigenously without any partners.

TAI CEO Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil:
"The biggest enemy of big projects is the question 'I wonder if we can do it? I think we can't do it.'

"I think the word "CAN'T" should be banned in big projects. I think President Erdoğan should put this in the new constitution so that the words
"Not possible" "We can't" becomes illegal!"

"If we want, we can do anything. God willing."

The canopy glass etc itself is no problem to RCS, its a bad radar reflector.
The glas is not the problem as it is teansparent to radio waves. The problem is what's behind the glas, which is the cockpit. The cockpit bieng made out of flat surfaces in straight angles will act like a retro-reflect in essence. All aircrafts have this problem.

What is normally done is to coate the canopy with a transparent conductive film such that the shape of the canopy reflects away the incoming radio wave. The most common such material is indium tin oxide. You see these material even on commercial aircrafts but mainly for de-icing of cockpit windows.

He is a "Karamanlı"

Note: Karamanlis are Orthodox Christian Turks who mostly lived in Karaman, Konya, Kayseri and surrounding areas. They were immigrated to Greece during the population exchange in 1926. Karamanli Turks have a rich written literature. These works are in Turkish and written in the Greek alphabet.

The Karamanlides (Greek: Καραμανλήδες, romanized: Karamanlídes; Turkish: Karamanlılar), also known as Karamanli Greeks or simply Karamanlis, are a traditionally Turkish-speaking Greek Orthodox people native to the region of Karaman in Anatolia.

I'd say it's Greek minority speaking Turkish that came from Karaman.
