Oh come on, we've been here before. Just wait it out, and let's see if it'll manifest into 100+ KAAN orders to the TuAF at all. even if it's just a fucking 4th or 4,5th gen it'll still be a fucking achievement!

Even in a hypothetical scenario that is not that plausible where Kaan ends up as 4th gen, i'm still okay with that, somehow we gotta start from 0 and reach certain point, you can't walk without learning kneewalking, you can't run without learning walking, i think our industry is quite capable, the only problem that we will have to solve is the engine, the rest of the avionics and systems are a matter of time.

Even with its current US engines, KAAN will be better than all current 4.5th gen fighters (better stealth and better sensors). The indigenous engines will come sooner or later.
Yes i know, what i was trying to mention was that, that even if it was 4th gen i would still be okay with it, we gotta start from somewhere.

Eray Güclüer said, Kaan engine is finished and ready for tests.
I don’t think so. Most probably he is confused. Maybe he is talking about TF-6000/10000 which maybe is ready for the tests. It is obviously major milestone on the way of producing TF-35000. There should be some kind of misunderstanding.

Sounds like utter bullshit as even the tests on TF6000 has barely just begun. Wait, is this the same clown that was talking about inner bays doors opening and closing in "1 salise"? Why on earth are you guys still taking this guy seriously?

the guy has a screw loose.

Mahmut Akşit recently has said that they're in the preliminary design phase of the engine.

Eray Gucluer does think TF6000/10000 will power KAAN so who nows.

On the other hand, they may have said him just that there will be an engine that power KAAN and he may understood that the engine is ready for the tests.

He says it with such confidence I want to almost believe him.
he lives in his own universe.

among his comical rhetoric, he mentions TF35K to have 39k lbf thrust. It's in the realm of possibilities that he actually have heard it from some higher-ups, which would coincides with TEI's target selection methodology for new engine development. TEI aimed to develop a more powerful engine than CST800(for GÖKBEY) to replace it. The rationale was that if they failed to reach the target shp with TS1400, they should at least get it to work at CST800 level so that it would still be a viable option for GÖKBEY. I reckon they would follow the same path and aim at a higher thrust than the speculated 35K lbf thrust figure.

Looks like they are going to fly for the last time with the first PT, today they have shared on insta taxi test right left turns. I asume they did it for a reason.
