There are difficulties with canopy and launch seat design, we adhered to F35 shape to keep it simple. Redesigning would be too major for now. What we should do is give Kaan ability to fly semi autonomous so pilots cognitive load will be reduced and they can focus on mission systems rather than flight and have their arms and hands free

We might see a repeat of what happened when the French left the Eurofighter program. I'm wondering if perhaps Spain's interest in the Hurjet can be a way for it to dip its toes into the KAAN project, just in case the FCAS falls through.

What do you guys think? Am I reading too much into this, or what?

Every military project involving France and Germany(together) is doomed to faill or end.
And then there are the costs,each system would probably cost 500 million euro when the French are involved.

Who said we have difficulties with canopy and ejection seat design?
For flying semi autonomous, we have developed AI engine. That’s why we don’t need a second pilot.
