There is something tricky about this. This is not how DEASH operates...
This was a lone wolf typo of attack where two men undertook the attack following ISIS fatwa on targeting non muslims all over the region.

It wasn't planned or ordered by ISIS command structure, but they did announce it. Attackers would have filmed a video before the attack, announcing their support to ISIS.

Per preliminary reports, they used converted air pistols for the attack. Not clear what's their nationalities are. Weird all this.

Looks like we had our first western type lone wolf terror attack. Expect more unless radical steps are taken regarding illegal immigrants and refugees.
They all need to be kicked out back to their hellholes no ifs and but. Do Turks want their Country to exist in the future? Then better get rid of them because they WILL destabilize the Country. The West didn't let go of the Treaty of Sevres, it just got updated.

Interesting Polish angle.

"New details of ISIS church attack in Istanbul;

· Poland Consulate to Istanbul Witold Lesniak was in there,

· The car used in the attack was brought from Poland a year ago and it hadn't been used until the day of the attack to church,

· Turkey formed an investigation group consisting of 150 personnel,

· The attackers, A.K. (Tajik) & D.T. (Russian), were among the 51 people detained. 28 suspects will be deported and procedures for 23 individuals are ongoing,

· When A.K.'s pistol jammed, the ISIS attackers panicked and ran away,

· Massimiliano Palinuro, Bishop of the Latin Catholic Community of Istanbul expressed his gratitude to Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya and requested more security measures for the protection of Catholic churches, emphasised that all religions have lived together peacefully in Istanbul for centuries. Lastly, he stated that churches in Istanbul won't be closed. "

I was reading an article once about how most of Isis volunteers came from the former soviet union. Many even served the respective armies of where they came due to this they went to iraq and syria to train isis terrorists. Think of it as blackwater of Jihad. It is said most of the Arab locals did not like Muslim foreigners all coming in droves to Syria and Iraq. Lots of tensions between locals and foreigners.

Worst terrorist attacks committed by Isis in Turkiye all came from the former soviet union.

Did the remnants of ISIS emigrate from Iraq and Syria to TR ?

This was apparently an ISIS attack on the church from ISIS elements in TR

So what?

Isis has created so many non existent Wilayas which they believe they will rule. Funny how westerners take it literally. Isis even claims Azerbaijan as a wilayah.

Islamic state collapses many of its fighters either deserted or scattered. Some turned into insurgency. But the African ones are a threat as we can see how they are growing in the sahel. I do believe they dont answer to Isis of Iraq and Syria basically operate in their own accord.

A lot of them are all foreigners that are holed up in Turkiye. They just have to be caught one by one.

give me the link, most of the isis fighters where either Arab jihadis or saddam sunni army's soldiers and officer
This is passing knowledge. Most if not all ISIS attacks in Turkey were either undertaken by Turkish nationals or by those with Central Asian ancestry. Reina attack was made by an Uzbek, Dokumacılar group was responsible for Ankara, Suruç and Diyarbakır, 2016 Taksim attack was made by a Turkish national as well. Only Sultanahmet attack was made by a Syrian.
