not unusual, given the fact that, over 800 f35 in service all around the world.Malfunctions with F-35 still keep going on.
F35 of the US 121 Squadron made an emergency landing due to a breakdown.
Sharing anecdotal evidence, of an F35 and then arguing that the product is a failure, is like seeing one BMW SUV burning and then claiming all of them are shit. No opinion on the F35 but that's a weak argument.

We didn't want to be a hostage to America .It was the wrong move to opt for S400 rather than this plane
How is that a problem to begin with ?F35 is no failure but the problem itself is trying to make the plane do everything.

As far as I know, TFX main role is still an air superiority fighterWe're kinda in the same boat with TF-X, initially planned as an air superiority fighter and later the plans were changed.
One more reason to be less ha-ha and more understanding.

When did that change?
It got bigger, thats for sure.Correct me if I'm wrong, but the requirements changed once the F35 debacle happened.
You must remember that there are three different F-35s, and all have significantly different roles than others. It is not just an air superiority and ground attack thing. There is no such thing for MMU. Think of it like F-16 started as an air superiority fighter but eventually became a multirole fighter. We're kinda in the same boat with TF-X, initially planned as an air superiority fighter and later the plans were changed.

Good thing we didn't buy this plane. It does more harm than good.
We were officially going to buy a plane to serve the USA with our own money.
