Kızılelma is progressing well. There is less than a year to its production to begin. Once it reaches operational capacity which is likely to happen in two years time a new era will have opened up. We are not really certain what missions it will be taking over but it has the potential to undertake all kinds of low critical missions even in its initial iteration.

I am guessing it to be basic with no dogfight capability. It will be good enough if it can carry out predetermined actions and functions autonomously, functions that must be sustained if communications is cut. Like situational awareness, self preservation and perhaps targeting stationary targets.

do you think it can be used as a loyal wingman by 2024?

If this thing can shoot down a single Russian jet in Ukrainian it began to sell itself.

Chakri is smaller than our Anadolu. Once Turkish drones proof themselves on the Anadolu chance is big that interested countries will come
Unmanned systems are not realtime as manned planed, one second delay make your plane in trouble on landing, autonomy is also difficult,on landing to ship.

Probably a miniature variant of ASELSAN's EOTS being developed for TF-X, much like the one on F-35
It is a different kind of EOTS. Look carefully, There are two small weird objects pointing straight towards front.

That's why they have automated landing, AI is much faster than humans!

We compare GA-ASI with Baykar and discuss which of them will put the product it is developing into service earlier or be a pioneer in a spesific field.

GA-ASI is the world's largest manufacturer of armed drones and military autonomous aerial vehicles. It is the company that industrialized the sector from an academic field of study and experimental project models, and is even the industrial creator. It has almost all of the most distinguished engineers in this field worldwide. Behind it is one of the biggest tech/energy-based companies in the world like GA. It is one of the most privileged companies of the Ministry of Defense, which allocates the largest funds for technological research in the world. They have a company structure that is academically intertwined with the US-based world's leading universities and institutes in this field. Their biggest buyer is the country that spends the most money on armaments in the world and they naturally have the political support of the world superpower in terms of foreign export opportunities.

Baykar, which flew its first tactical drone in 2009 with a team of about 20 people, started to compete with GA-ASI within 14 years with its product range, export capacity and company policies aiming for many firsts in the sector within 15 years.

In some fields, Baykar has actually surpassed them.
I am not referring to the company's 2022 revenue figures, but to its total value, i.e. its premises and number of employees etc. GA-ASI has over 5000 employees in the organization alone. Incorporation date is 1993, but there are more before that incorporation. The company was already organized as a subsidiary of a worldwide company. There is no doubt that Baykar is catching up fast. GA-ASI has the advantages of the support of the US academic circles and defense ministry (Darpa-like funding sources) and political power behind it, but Baykar responds as a company with more flexible and aggressive policies.

I see those and they are more like placeholders. CTO Haluk Bayraktar said that KIZILELMA will be fully ready with its subsystems in 2025, which would of course include EOTS.

Why not?

Any reason why it could not be suitable?

The Mojave aircraft has a take-off distance of 400ft (122m) for ISR missions and 1,000ft (304m) for attack missions.

The lenght of flight deck of juan carlos is 202 m.

Ok. I just saw this. 300 feet is around 90 meters. This can take off an land on juan carlos and Anadolu.
What matters is how much useful load it carries. It is all about physics, there is no magic in this. It has to carry fuel for the duration, speed and the MTOW of the mission. It also needs to carry enough ammo and the right sensors for the mission. So the plane being able to take off or land with no mention of these factors is not informative at all.
