From ChatGPT:
Yeah, no. ChatGPT doesn't know things, it's a language model. And it's more steerable than a puppy. I assume you asked "Is a flying wing a technology?" and got that answer. Here's another:

I only said that the purpose of this current prototype is per se the flying wing technology and not a prototype close to serial production.
I disagree with that. We didn't see TAI's testing of the previous demonstrators and scale models, which may lead one to think that Anka-3 is the first iteration. It isn't. Dassault for example was much more open with it, showcasing AVE-D and C in fairs and magazines years before. Anka-3 is a working prototype on its way to be incurred into service in time, of course with changes. But it's not a capability demonstrator or a testbed.
"Our ANKA-3 UAV will perform reconnaissance, surveillance, air-to-air and air-ground attack missions with its high payload carrying capacity, tailless structure and low radar cross-sectional area." Haluk Görgün.

Maybe TurAF is not interested in a VLO UCAV for now and will be happy with a LO design, but TAI did mention going for a VLO aircraft in the past, which is years away.

She looks awesome. Look at all those protruding antennas and sensors and the LOS antenna. Got years of development ahead of it to be a true very low observable flying wing. Such a hard task at hand.

Really doubt it, they won't use a prototype as a chase plane.
I thought that too but the paint on the Hürkuş is a primer paint. It might be a new production for export

Yup, then I remembered, Hürkuş-2 wouldn't have a yellow primer paint on it as it's supposed to be an all composite body. Hopefully for export, or one a prototype converted to a chase plane.

So you are telling me that you know better than the systems engineering manager of the ANKA 3 project himself?
Watch from 05:45 min please.
And when you at it watch the whole thing please and you will know then what i am talking about.

- The purpose of this prototype is to test the flyability (they already tested it with a smaller model)
- There are many countries, who want to develope this drone together with TAI (because it is not a well-known technology and hard to obtain)
- After this prototype, TAI will apply stealth features, like a hidden nozzle, RAM paint, etc.

Well yes, he's the systems manager, giving a dumbed down interview in between his actual job. I watched the thing the day it was released last year.

Kaan doesn't have a radar, we don't call it a technology demonstrator. I thought my point was very clear. We have many years ahead of us for a VLO flying wing UCAV. Nothing in the video disputes this.

I wouldn't say years tbh. ASELSAN is on prototyping and testing phase for conformal antennas of all kinds

Can someone explain what is that thing sticking out under the drone?

I'm believing they can, pitot design is just as hard tho. Kaan also still uses regular ones. But If NG did it in 80s, we can do it too.

it is of course doable, but necessary? I don't think so. F-35/22, J-20/35, Su-57/75 all use it

Anka-3 will change similar to Kızılelma prototypes. Engine section will be modified for RCS and antennas will change.
