TB-3 can slow down on the runway without a tail hook. The aircraft will already have a very low approach speed, almost on foot. The problem will start when we want to put the KE into the equation (or even the Hürjet, based on official statements).

What about a fully loaded TB-3 ?

The Turkish group Baykar showed a video of the test launch from the Bayraktar Akinci UAV of the Roketsan IHA-230 supersonic missile. The launch was made from the fourth prototype of the Akinci B UAV, equipped with Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 series turboprop engines instead of the previously installed Ukrainian AI-450T engines. Supersonic air-to-ground missile IHA-230 - can operate day and night at a distance of up to 140 kilometers. The missile is an effective means against stationary ground and sea targets, radars and air defense systems.

I dont think so, we are not talking about an airliner here, most countries wont allow foreigners to operate a military vehicle.
What about those countries' own nationals Bayraktar operators, don't they count?

The fact that KE will be on board the ship at tomorrow's ceremony may indicate that a new project will be announced tomorrow.

Break failure is easily solvable through software. TB3 could reaccelerate upon touch down if brakes fail. Ship would be safe but drone would probably have to be ditched if too far from land.
A fixed wing traditional aircraft trying to land, fail and trying to take off after a touch and go on a carrier with skijump would be a first in history if they did that. I really wish they won't try that. There really isn't any place on Anadolu for a touch and go.

When you say anywhere in the world it implies you can aply for job abroad.
I didn't say a Bayraktar operator which means a certain individual, I said Bayraktar operators which encompasses a pool of them which can include all of them. My words are final.

Üstadım, in addition to that: another thing that makes me think is safety net. TB-3 contact with the runway could be at very low speeds and a safety net on the part of the line that is not to be run could really come in handy. But a jet with a turbofan and a landing weight of at least 4 tons will probably touch down around 100knot minimum. It will have to run a longer line and if it cannot stop, it will contact the safety net at very high speed.

And of course, the fact that the safety net will be opened at each landing and that these aircraft will use all or almost all of the runway for each landing and take-off will be factors that will limit the runway preparation time and therefore the hour / sortie capacity.

I have a question.

From a safety (take off&landing on the runway of TCG Anadolu) point of view, wouldn't it be more appropriate to design the TB-3's wings wider but shorter?

Yup. Anadolu will hardly be efficient in sortie generation with fixed wing drones. Which is still okay, as I think it will primarily be a training platform for at least next few years. But one gotta also consider, they will send a drone away for up to 12-24 hours. Drone operations do not require that big of sortie generation numbers. Take off and landing of helicopters however will basically stop while drone ops are underway.

With F35Bs and Harriers being denied its pretty smart to turn the TCG Anadolu into a ship for drones.

Honestly a smart move even if it take years to get it right and matured.
