These numbers do not really mean much. A plane needs more and more power to realize its peak potential. Kızılelma needs the TF10000 engine for its mainstay performance levels. Even that seems to be going to be a lackluster performance barely reaching mach 1. Kızılelma can reach peak performance with a custom engine or a major engine upgrade to an evailable larger engine. Speeds also must be considered with full loadout to be informative.
Comparing with Kaan with with 34750 kg MTOW and 1.8 Mach speed Kızılelma only has 8500 kg MTOW and probably under 1.3 Mach speed even in its fully matured incarnation. This performance would be edaquate for its role and will pobably enable it to do away with expensive materials and keep its cost down.
It doesn't have EOTS or IRST. Are the first ones going to be empty or are they planing to integrate at least one of them after initial verification flights? I would certainly hope for the the latter
Air force will run hundreds of flights for every single thing. This is another world's first. There are no UCAVs like this in service in anywhere in the world. Maybe Russians' S-70, which didn't fare great in Ukraine.
Yes he says 50+ Anka-3 order expected. He adds that the engine supply from Ukraine is still possible in spite of the war. He also says that if needed, they would be in a position to use the TEI engine. I am guessing that the TEI engine still not matured yet but can propel this plane.
