Russians mine the Crimean Titan
The Russians mined a chemical plant in the Crimea. In the event of its undermining, not only seven regions of Ukraine will suffer, but also Turkey and the Russian Federation itself.
In the temporarily occupied Armyansk in the north of Crimea, the Russian military mined the Crimean Titanium chemical plant, Ukrainian intelligence reported today. In the event of an explosion, the ammonia cloud will spread in half an hour and cover nearby areas. Both the Main Intelligence Directorate and experts are convinced that the occupiers are ready to create a new artificial man-made disaster.
Preparing for a terrorist attack
Due to the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station and, as a result, the lack of water in the North Crimean Canal, production processes at the Crimean Titanium plant have been disrupted to a critical level.
According to the GUR, the Russians consider it impossible to resume work in the minimum proper mode. On the territory of Armyansk, information is circulating about a possible shutdown of the enterprise.
"At the same time, the engineering units of the occupying army of Muscovy over the past few days have been mining the workshops of the enterprise, which continue to work, as well as planting explosives in the factory and adjacent territory," the report says.
Scouts note that the terrorist attack on the Crimean Titan, for which the invaders are preparing, will mean an artificial man-made disaster, terrible in its consequences. Thus, about 200 tons of technological ammonia are used in the refrigeration equipment of the plant. In the event of an explosion at the plant, an ammonia cloud, depending on the direction of the wind, will cover nearby areas in half an hour.
Thus, the occupied Armyansk, Krasnoperekopsky district and the southern regions of the Kherson region will be under the threat, first of all. The GUR also reported that the Russians are preparing representatives of the occupation administration and the local population from Armyansk for the evacuation.
Türkiye may also suffer
The head of the Kherson OVA, Alexander Prokudin, said that a possible explosion that the Russians could arrange at a chemical plant in Armyansk would provoke the release of thousands of tons of toxic substances into the atmosphere, which would lead to a mortal danger to people and the environment.
"The residents of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and at least seven other regions of Ukraine, as well as Turkey and the aggressor country itself, will suffer," he said in Telegram.
