Impact of 4 D-30SN guided bombs on the command post of the Ukrainian army. The Russian army has begun to use in Ukraine the new D-30SN guided interspecific air-gliding munition. The video shows footage of attacks on the command post of the Ukrainian army, in the village of Dneprovskoe, by four D-30SN guided bombs launched from a Su-34 aircraft. The flight range of the D-30SN can reach 160 km or more; when dropped from a height of 12 km, it can also be launched from MLRS. The D-30SN guided aerial bomb has a warhead weighing 250 kg, and the deflection of the bomb from the target does not exceed five meters. The design of the UMPB D-30SN ammunition consists of a warhead, a control unit, a jet engine and wings that deploy in flight.

We want to see Mirage 2000 on Ukrainian sky
"French President Emmanuel Macron, in interview with French TV stations on Thursday, said France planned to sell Mirage 2000 warplanes to Ukraine. The Mirage 2000 is a French multi-role, single-engine, fourth-generation jet fighter."

France will hand over Mirage 2000 fighters to Ukraine and will train pilots, - Macron.

More statements:
▪️The country wants to prepare a "French brigade" of 4,500 Ukrainian soldiers and equip them.
▪️ Macron also confirmed that he allows French missiles to be fired on the territory of the Russian Federation.

F-16s (in time) will replace Ukraine's Mig-29s as their primary front line fighter. Now we see the full plan in motion. France 🇫🇷 will supplement the F-16 fighter aircraft with Mirage-2000 bombers that will replace Ukraine's small fleet of SU-24 bombers. Importantly, the Mirage-2000 has been upgraded to use a full complement of Western weapons to their maximum capability, unlike the SU-24, which suffers from reduced capability with Western made weapons.

Number of airframe = 85
Number of driver = 20

How many pilots would it take for a full squadron of 20 jets = 40

Between the 3 training locations, the West is training approximately 25 Ukrainian pilots to fly the F-16. An additional, undisclosed, group of pilots are in the U.K. taking "lead in training" on the Hawk, while taking an english course, for easier conversion training to the F-16 and reduced qualifying time after the initial batch of pilots.

As I said previously, however, Ukraine would ideally pay a small cadre of American / European pilots with plenty of experience flying the F-16, to compliment their own pilot cadre until they have enough pilots of their own. $500,000 usd for 1 year service in the Ukrainian Air Force would go a long way. 30 international pilots at an affordable cost of $15 million usd would significantly boost Ukraine's ability to keep their F-16s in the air, especially for air "cap" / airborne air defense missions.

France 🇫🇷 will provide Ukraine with $700 million usd in grants and loans to bolster the Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

Germany 🇩🇪 has ordered $980 million usd worth of 155mm artillery shells. The shells will be split between refilling German Army stocks and continuing to supply Ukraine with the valuable shells.

The Russians sent minesweeping and hydrographic survey ships around an island in the middle of the Gulf of Finland. The Russians announced on May 21 that they did not recognize the maritime borders of Finland and Lithuania.
Perfect place for Ukraine to send Special Forces units with Magura sea drones. Hunt the Russian Navy wherever it exists and trade cheap drones for expensive warships that Russia has no hope of replacing in the short term.

Not to mention, it's extremely costly and time consuming to train the crew of a naval ship, so if you can drown them in the open sea, Russia's Navy will certainly suffer considerably.

Yep. A Brigade trained by highly trained soldiers that are known for being pretty damn merciless. I love it. If they make this brigade anywhere close to as effective as the American trained 47th Mechanized Brigade, it would be great... Here is they key. For this new Brigade to operate at a high level, it needs quality armor and artillery. The best American, German, French, British, Swedish and Polish MBTs, IFVs, APCs, Artillery and Drones they can get their hands on.

Yes. But the most important point is french instructors will be on the Ukrainian soil.

First time a country will send its soldiers to Ukraine though they are coming for training.

Next time Macron will send for fight in the battle.

Now France is sending very capable Mirage 2000-5F to Ukraine.

Of course training will be an issue here, if the U.S could only afford to train 20, then France is likely to be less capable than that by a margin. Unlike the F-16, only a select few country outside of France operate the model (Greece in Europe, Taiwan in Asia, Qatar and the UAE in ME, Peru in the Americas).

Realistically only Greece could be counted upon to help.

The solution to this before Ukraine could field enough capable M2000 driver is to kill as many Ukrainian pilots on the ground and directly in their homes. The Taliban developed a sophisticated network of spies just to kill Afghan AF pilots during the war against the allies. Maybe the Russians are interested in this method.

The other method is increasing ISR capacity to monitor Ukraine 24/7/365. Then destroy them on the ground. Russia has to launch lots and lots of spy satellite in the coming months and years.

I wonder how long it be before the Mirage 2000 is seen in service with the Ukrainian air force.

According to M Macron, pilots will be trained in France. Transfer and training programme starts today. I don't think this programme will suffer the many delays associated with the transfer of used F-16's. 'Political will' is there with M2K in contrast to 'political will not' with F-16.
