Israel bombed military targets in Syria hundreds of times. There was not a single case when Russian newest SAMS shot down a missile. The made many claims but never were able to shoot down even one missile.

Thats why Israel never uses decoys in Syria. There is simply no need.

Fire onboard a warship can cause CATastrophic damage, it can compromise the structural integrity of the ship and if the fire reach munitions, missiles or torpedo onboard the result would be a spectacular firework.
Just ask the bri'ish how they lost their ship from a fire( caused by missile) in falkland, and US air craft carrier also suffer damage because some missile accidentally got heated by jet fighter exhaust, fire onboard of a warship is not a good thing.
