Thats impossible. Lets say the daily costs of the Russian invasion are 200 million US Dollar per day.

The war started at 22 february and its now 17 april.

February: 6 x 200 = 1.2 billion
March: 31 x 200 = 6.2 billion
April: 17 x 200 = 3.4 billion

Thats 10.6 billion US dollars. For just one shitty invasion?

That's not impossible though when you are talking about Russia and their whole own incompetence 🤣🤣 those already confirmed lost of MBT alone is numbered between 500 units in which if each costs around two to three million US Dollar that's already 1-1,5 Billion US Dollar worth of equipment. That's not included the munition costs, fuel costs, sparepart units already sent at the frontline forward base and so on.

I am would not be surprised if at the end of fighting they already lost between twenty to thirty Billion US Dollar worth of material and most likely more than that, fuel and equipment, not to mention huge number of pension Funds for ten thousands of severely wounded soldier and Ten thousand of deceased ones.

It's going to be very ugly from starting from here.

They should just give up the Crimea, Donbass and other Ukraine territory, pursue peace and paid war reparations to Ukraine for concession to not pursue the Mastermind of the invasion for all the war crime happened. Then Negotiated with the west through Germany and France channel to alleviate the economical sanction imposed against them. Then use the fuel money to build Russian as a whole, Levy more tax against the oligarch, rebuild their economy and military from scratch, while at the same time appease all of their neighbor instead of threatened them one by one...

Well i don't know about Putin and Russian people way of thinking, they seemed still dwelled into the faint glory of Russian Empire and USSR in which not at all, they are already stretched thin all over, if they put general mobilization into action, then Russia would be over as the west had more deep (money, industrial base, arms and population base) to draw the Russian into real meatgrinder and deep abyss.

Imagine if Putin didn't win by May 9.......

  • - Until that date, Ukraine will receive a lot of support, financially and equipment wise which will be a lot more modern than their Russian equivalents while Russian army keeps bleeding.
  • - Only Russian "victroy" in sight would be taking Mariupol, massacring Azov fighters and/or flattening more areas with rockets regardless of civilian lives.
  • - Any made up Russian "victory" will be shadowed by the sinking of Moskva.
  • - Something tells me that the Ukrainians are preparing an elaborate present for Mr. Putin on May 9th.

Movement of columns of Russian troops in Ukraine, Kharkiv region

The work of Russian electronic warfare systems in Ukraine. The video shows the Murmansk-BN electronic warfare system and the Krasukha-4 electronic warfare system. The company commander spoke about the use of the Krasukha-4 electronic warfare system in Ukraine. "The complex has proven itself very well, works flawlessly in all weather conditions. Our main task is to cover the grouping of troops from radar reconnaissance and targeted enemy air strikes. During the operation, 12 Bayraktar complexes were discovered, we suppressed them and the complexes could not make a targeted strike on our groups."

US Pentagon claims that the Moskva was sunk by two Ukrainian Neptune missiles.
This ship was probably loaded to it’s brim with missiles and ammunition. Most of it’s weapons systems are very exposed. It only needs one missile to hit it. Active protection can only give you a limited amount of protection.
One must not discount the presence of very heavy Electronic Warfare at the time of the attack.
Then again there s the likelihood of a mine exploding close to the ship. An explosion like that would create such shuddering resonating in the ship’s megastructure, that it would tear it apart and cause the sort of damage and fire Russians were talking about.
But if it were a mine strike, wouldn’t it be more face-saving than two Neptune missiles hitting or the incompetence of the crew causing a fire on board?
I guess until after the war when diving teams go down and bring back proof, we will not know the true reason of her sinking.

The moemnt this occurs, Ukraine will lose Kherson forever
Ukraine doesnt have time and the Russians are defending kherson with everything they got. Rn, if Putin actually announced kherson independence, then Putin will be officially breaking the only path left for Ukraine to claim any territory after the Denipro river.
I will say it again, time isnt in favour of Ukraine and it seems that switching from a defensive stance to an attacking one seems difficult for the Ukranians
