You are trying to extract something from the course of events in history to satisfy your views, but look at what Poland looks like now. I'm not saying that it happened thanks to the Soviet Union, but not without its participation. What would have happened to Poland if fascism had won? No one will tell you. And the visually confirmed tell another story.
And I'm not buying the "Russians don't take pictures" excuse because just like your post, Russians take pictures of even the most insignificant captures,
and every time a TB-2 downed or crashed you're just short of announcing it a national holiday.
