How can you close the straits when Turkey isnt officially at war?

The treaty of Lusanne stated that as long as Turkey isnt at war, the straits should remain open to all; even Russia

Moreover, if Turkey enters into a war just to close the straits, there will be a lot of complicationss. Just remember that the cheapest source of Gas comes from Russia and the largest number of tourists per year also comes from Russia and Turkey use Russia as a bargaining chip against the US from time to time

Finally, the Russian military is more advanced than Turkey's! Yes, Turkey has drones but Russia has hundreds of completely or mostly indigenous beasts like t-72 tanks, S400s, SU-35 and SU-57 and that includes the bloody engine. Above all, the West wont help you at all!
