Two Russian Tu-22M3 bombers patrol Belarus airspace

MOSCOW, February 5. /TASS-DEFENSE/. Two Russian Tu-22M3 long-range bombers completed a patrol mission in Belarus’ airspace, which lasted about four hours, the Russian Defense Ministry told reporters on Saturday.
"Two Tu-22M3 long-range bombers of the Aerospace Forces completed a patrol mission in the Belarusian airspace," the ministry said.
The Defense Ministry clarified that the assigned tasks had been accomplished.
"In the course of their flight, the long-range aircraft practiced joint tasks with the air force and air defense of the Belarusian armed forces," the ministry added.
Having achieved the assigned tasks, the Russian long-range bombers returned to their base in Russia.
At the beginning of last December, the Belarusian Defense Ministry said that in 2022 Belarus and Russia would continue accomplishing joint air defense combat alert missions and air patrols of the Union State’s borders.

I cant believe this shit, this is the 1st aircraft that has a hard kill APS system before the idea of MSDM was to be applied to the F-35. This aircraft is a attack choice of option for Ukraine.

MOSCOW, February 4-RIA Novosti. The upgraded Tu-160M strategic bomber will become the world's first aircraft with reverse launch missiles - they are capable of intercepting targets located "behind its back", a source in the aircraft industry told RIA Novosti.
As reported, the first built from scratch strategic bomber-missile carrier Tu-160M made its debut 30-minute flight on January 12 this year. The new aircraft received upgraded engines, updated avionics and avionics, as well as new weapons control systems.
"The first newly manufactured Tu-160M is equipped with a rear-view radar station, which will allow the aircraft to use so-called reverse launch missiles for self-defense against air-to-air, surface-to-air missiles and fighters. Such air-to-air missiles will target targets in the rear hemisphere, that is, those located "behind" the Tu - 160M, according to the target designation of the bomber's tail radar, "the source said.
The source added that " the use of rear-view radar on heavy bombers is most appropriate, since these are low-maneuverable vehicles that simply may not have time to turn their nose to the enemy."

Looking at the numbers:
US led coalition invaded Iraq using approx 180 000 ground troops + 50 000 Kurdish forces in Northern Iraq
Total: 230 000 troops (in some ways you could include Kurds as reserve force as they were primarilly used to hold ground/cities/towns US Army + Special forces took over.
Russian Army will end up having 150 000 troops encircling Ukraine from 3 directions in about 2 weeks time.
Plus Mercenary forces (slavonic corps, wagner group, foreign fighters, Kadyrovtsy etc..) approx 3,000
VDV (approx 5,000)
FSB spetsnaz groups (approx 500)
Russian Army in Transnistria + Transnistrian forces approx (2,000)
Belarussian Army approx 5,000
Plus further Russian Army Reservists, Federal National Gaurd, Border Gaurds + Omon (approx 100 000)
Thats a total of:
165 500 regular troops for invasion
+ 100 000 Reserves
That is a pretty large Russian force and extremley Concerning. Zelensky needs to WAKE UP because if he does not warn Ukranian Nation in time they will only have around 160 000 regulars and 50 000 reservists ready to defend against a Total invasion force of 265 500. Who not only outnumber Ukranians currently but have longer range weapons systems, unlimited supply chains and more technologically advanced Aerial denial weapons. Plus more numerous weapons systems.
To put it simply Zelensky needs to start informing Ukranians of the severity of the situation and work to mobilize at least 200 000 reserves by end of month!

Issue is the cost of mobilisation...the mobilisation economic cost might be what Russia is trying to do.
Ukraine with its allies must try plan an optimal long term strategy of maximum damage on any Russian attack and also Russian economy.
It might not involve a counter-mobilisation at this juncture, we are not privy to such intel details right now.

useless weapons being delivered are not much of help or setting up more Ukrainian corpses to be burned by thermobaric weapons 300 meter blast radius bombs or 60,000 square meter explosions from a volley of TOS-2 rockets. They will make sure some cities are level before mobilizing tanks to scout areas since there will be no cover left.
