Interview with the commander of the Azov regiment Denis Prokopenko, from Mariupol. He says they will keep fighting. The enemy is killing civilians, taking them to the territory of Russia at gunpoint, looting in the city. They don't have heating, they eat once a day, drink industrial water, save on ammunition, so they hit with aim. He says he is ready to die for Ukraine, but does not want his fighters to die. The thrice-wounded are still grabbing their weapons. The number of the enemy is estimated at 14 thousand people, they, they, the Russians, have a lot of equipment knocked out for 2 battalions, the number of Russian infantrymen killed is also very high, but they have a lot of resources.. They did not blow up the building of the Drama Theater, at that moment Russian aircraft bombed. Communication with relatives is extremely limited, they are given a few minutes. They hope for the deblocking of the city

There’s been numerous photos of destroyed tanks, and many of those with thrown turrets in the classic Soviet/Russian fashion.

This picture stands out compared to most other ones IMO:

It looks like one of the ERA blocks on the top of the turret has blown....suggesting that this is where a top attack munition impacted. It’s already been stated by various people that the NLAW and Javelin isn’t bothered by the ERA (and certainly not the ”cope cages” that some tanks have), but this seems to be first major visual conformation of that.

The NLAW, like the RBS-56 BILL 2 munition that it is based on, uses two directed charges that fire one after the other in the same spot, for the purpose of defeating ERA. Seems to work as advertised....compounding Russian problems on what they have committed (that can now be relatively easily addressed with continued assistance to Ukraine by Allied Mil complex at large).

Can you believe this? The Russians are sh*tting their pants over the possibility of a Georgian intervention in South Ossetia that has been occupied by Russia for years now. The Kremlin is rushing ahead with this so called referendum in the hopes that Georgian officials wouldn't dare a move once the territory has been incorporated into the Russian Federation.

I guess the Russian military doesn't trust its capabilities to fight on another front against mighty and powerful Georgia. I mean, who wouldn't....

US is giving more than that, they already re-formed the fighting units of Ukraine armed Forces and reshaped them into potent lethal , lean, fighting units in which very mobile and rear units can giving full support for the frontline units.

The thing is, regular Ukraine armed Forces is able to confront Russian armed Forces in frontal collision yet they utilized small group tactics for ambushes in very great effect.

Need more update on the heroic fighting of the besieged Azov regiment, Territorial Defense Forces and Ukraine Marines in Mariopol city. They already fighting since day one of invasion, and still fiercely resisting.

was inactive for while, lot of happened in month, now it seems that war will be decided in east, in overall disastrous perfomance of russian military regardless of final outcome.
they need to build their military from scratch, so many gaps exposed in this conflict when opponent has at least partially equal position.
