Man I wonder where are those russians claiming they could Invade Turkiye and destroy our air force within hours now I doubt these mongolian russians can even fight against our old F-4s. during 2015 they were talking a lot mongolian russians have big mouth but not a good army nor a trained air force thats why they brought Su-34s from syria .

Russia at this point could not even afford a new front with Kazakhstan.

The main point after this war regardless if russia wins :

1. It's no longer a near peer competitors for America or NATO
2. It will be in the mercy of the Chinese
3. Loss of prestige both globally and internally. Think about a giant North Korea.

I doubt Russia could replace all of the lost equipment in Ukraine and if they do, it'll take a lot of time and money. Most affected will be the air force and navy. Which means Russia could no longer play the world power any longer. Still a major power but no longer a feared major power, just look at the recent tone of Poland when addressing Russia.

The problem with Russians is extensive Ruling party propaganda
The general Russian masses believes what is portrayed only from their ruling party TV which always state that they are winning and they are the best.
Other dictatorial regimes such as North Korea, Arabs, and China follow the same suit.
However, such situations bring ruins such as in the Nagorno-Karabagh war. In the early days, the Armenian media kept stating that they are winning and that the Azeri forces can never enter the karabagh region; yet ironically, in just a few weeks, the Armenian ppl were surprised to hear that Azeri forces have controlled Susha (the heart of karabagh) and the Armenian ppl were like.... wtf?

The same scenario is happening again but the problem is that Putin will never get out of this fight as a loser even if his army will suffer more than 100k casualities

I mentioned something similar, multiple times, earlier in this thread. I'm sure some people thought I was simply throwing shade at Russia, but I was being serious. Russia is a poverty country. They have nearly 4x the population of Canada, yet they have a smaller GDP because of how badly the people allow themselves to be held back by the state.

I've visited Russia and it was woefully underwhelming. It's a pretty depressing place, given its potential. It's filled with sad, cynical, cowardly people, who have spent decades allowing themselves to be exploited and treated like sheep by their "leaders". As a result, the average person has been held back tremendously.

Russia is a shit hole. A whole bunch of lipstick on a pig. The state of the old, rusted out, Soviet era military equipment they're using to invade Ukraine, is perfectly indicative of their country. Poorly cared for and stuck in the past, while constantly trying to present a grander image to the international community.

Their economy is a a complete joke, which is insane given the depth of natural resource base, the size of the country, easy access to shipping, etc.

Russia is losing its newest main battle tanks in Ukraine​

Russia’s war in Ukraine is not going well and Russian Army suffered humiliating setbacks on several sectors of the front at once.
Ukraine’s military shared new photos on social media showing the destroyed and captured modern T-80BVM main battle tanks. The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces has struck Russian troops and destroyed several newest T-80BVM tanks. One of the modern Russian tanks was captured.
So far, Russia has lost nearly two dozen of T-80BVMs throughout the course of its invasion, as documented by the Oryx Blog.
The Oryx Blog, a group that tracks the conflict in real time, has said 19 newest tanks have been taken out, and footage of destroyed and captured vehicles has been shared widely online.

According to TASS, the T-80BVM is the latest generation of Russian main battle tanks. It has been produced by the Omsk Transport Machine-Building Enterprise, part of the Uralvagonzavod Group). It was first publicly revealed in 2017.
“The T-80BVM tank features an improved 125mm cannon and a more powerful 1,250 hp gas turbine engine. The main battle tank is furnished with a multi-channel gunner sight, a mechanic-driver’s vision device and an armament stabilizer. The tank is reinforced with slat and modular reactive armor,” TASS outlet reported.

It is not just a choice, it is who they are .It is a brigand mentality so they can live only or natural resources which great deal are not based in their true homeland. They are not industrious nor they have an ambition to be that. Why would they? They have made it this far with their try and tested methods. The dream was and still is that the Germans and some other Europeans will manage it for them and all will have a jolly good time. Usa and UK naturally didn't agree to creat such a monster but ot is not over. Germans dream of it and others too. It is not over by a long shot. And ofcurse in that new world which they dream of they will see themselves as the people who fight dishonesty, conspiracy and for moral values. People who were established with psychotic break .
