could explain the abysmal performance of Russian Armed forces in this war.
The presentation is corny but makes some important points.My favourite one from 36:24
- Corruption is not ''efficiently'' ditributed
- It can introduce points of failure in intricate systems for relatively paltry amounts of money
- It can ground an offensive before it even begins
- e.g A $2m tank can't move without diesel ( diesel that has been sold for say $50,000). Sometimes a 2.5% corruption means that there is a 100% reduction in capability.
Covers many aspects like ghost divisions that only collect salaries , falsifying records, culture , hierarchy etc.
Corruption affects all militaries, some more than others.
