Permanently shackling your country to a set of unchanging 7th century laws is a sure strategy to keep your country backward, poor and weak, a country that will always wallow in poverty and which will be walked over by any enemy invader.

I'm so glad Bangladesh adopted a secular constitution in 1971, otherwise we would be a failed state. Highly religious and poor and weak.

Islam does not forbid its followers
to advance
in technology, science and the like.

Islam encourages its people to become a Mukmin.

Here, one can be a believing architect,
a believing scientist,
a believing businessman, etc.

do you really believed those polls.Otherwise PAS(party islamic malaysia) will win election in malaysia instead only in kelantan.

Here, many do not like the PAS party.
They consider PAS
as a party that is more theatrical
and some call it,
a party that uses religion for its own benefit.

I think we should stop this
right here,
cause its already off topic.

Sorry, admin. 😊

All constitutions should ideally be secular. It takes generations for society to change and leave behind its prejudice and hate but a stroke of a pen in the Constitution can point us in the right direction.
