By the way, the US/NATO gang has supported bacha baaz Northern Alliance warlords who formed a government and ruled over Afghanistan for a good two decades. Karzai and his clan are involved in mass opium cultivation. Not particularly a poster boy for democracy and human rights if you ask me. Weren't they backward? In the next tent boys used to get molested. US/NATO soldiers and generals used to pretend it never happened. Afghan officials are bribed with CIA coffers filled with US taxpayers money. Yet the US/NATO kept supporting them and turned a blind eye.

There is no such thing as concern for human rights, women's rights blah blah. There are only interests. Whenever any individual, group, nation or bloc mentions any of these fancy words my advice would be to laugh it off.

I understand why america was there, why russia was there, why britain was there and i understand why a new pimp like china may be there tomorrow. What i don't understand is why Turkey who has a thousand more immediate and pressing concerns become so concerned about being in Afghanistan. This is backward country and culture who will always find itself being invaded, millions of its people being murdered and when the occupier achieves nothing he leaves only for another power to try his luck again. Afghanistan for the past 200 years has been an absolute disaster.

So like i said what is Turkey going to achieve in Afghanistan that America, Russia and Britain couldn't? Is this simply erdogan trading Turkish lives to gain favour over the halk bank corruption scandal?

In the past 20 years i never heard anyone in Turkey talk about Afghanistan being such critical geopolitical significance to Turkey, all of the sudden america pulls out after being defeated and erdogan is desperate to offer biden a favour?

This is the right time to step in and fill the void. Such a chance won't present itself in probably another few decades.

US/NATO in general. We learnt this very early on. Now we are going to make the correct choices. Friendly nations like Turkey and Iran who have a different approach need to step in.

Real deal would be if they readjust this building for scom school, health care facility or sometihing other that would serve to as many people as possible. That would be true win.
Second example clearly shows that in lawless society like afganistan is today, there is no place to complain on strictness of laws, you can not treat staged ghangrena woth antibiotics.
