I was not patronizing China in that statement. It is key for China to have neighbours it can cooperate with but The taliban delagation will soon visit the White House and have a meal with Biden and his admin..

Throwing a big barbecue party in the white house backyard.. It has happened before the Taliban use to visit the white house often pre-2001

It remains to be seen if Taliban (once in power) could do the day to day state affairs (including border security), while many of it's fighters are composed of ETIM fighters and with the presence of Al-Qaeda, TTP, BLA and ISIS-K at the same time.

It will be interesting to see how governance in Afghanistan evolves in the next few years.
