Peringatan boxing day tsunami Aceh sedikit lagi (26 Desember), Indonesia harusnya sedikit banyak sudah belajar banyak tentang penanganan bencana alam dalam skala besar. Peran militer memang tidak bisa diabaikan dalam memberikan respon pertama tanggap darurat terhadap bencana alam, perlengkapan militer dan pelatihan harus terus ditingkatkan.

Aset sekelas A400M, LPD, hospital ship, helikopter dll sangat vital. Btw menggunakan osprey TNI juga bakalan sanggup menjangkau daerah yang sulit dijangkau dari jarak yang jauh.

Kayaknya paling OK memang pakai LPD, bisa angkut logistik, rumah sakit, pasukan, dan helikopter sekaligus. Tinggal kirim ke lokasi bencana, udah ada fasilitas all-in-one.

Kalau pesawat transport besar kendala utamanya ya perlu lanud yang besar, belum lagi kendaraan darat untuk transport, tentunya situasi bencana akan mempersulit penggunaan transport plane.

Btw anyone remember "Chestnut"? Few years back he said Andika has some kind of innovation like introducing UGV into the Army. But so far he did nothing in his short tenure, and now he is soon in retirement. Maybe he should be Menhan in 2024?

It would be easier for that realization if he become MoD. Structurally closer with Dewi Sri and Bappenas that could be possibly easier for him to talk with them(?).

PS gonna do his presidential campaign soon which in the law, minister that does that must stop their job in the ministry. If I’m the president, I will put AP to replace PS, which looks like LBP would also supportive of that because AP was his junior in Den-81 and there is no problem between them ever heard during that time, different with MoD that he ever had problem with LBP (LBM actually, that LBP called as his golden boy) and because of that he was dibuang to became Kasdim.

Yeah but Andika introducing the wide scale of use commercial drones to the army, buying more helicopters, armored vehicles and also better individual equipment

Den-81

Maybe many think that this one is the first unit dedicated for Ops Basra (operasi pembebasan sandra/hostage rescue operation) for airplane hijacking scenario, but actually not. It was a smart choice to trained LBP and PS in Hangelar, Germany (West Germany back then) with the GSG-9. During that time, this one was the tool used by West German government to fought Baader-Meinhof Gang and also deployed to Somalia for Ops Basra there.

Honestly I think more money spent on his education in the US (and his real estate) than what he spent for equipment during his time as Panglima lmao.

Make him Menhan I think, not the cleanest dude, but at least he is educated and knows what he's doing.
