India for example will need clarification on how US intends to pursue CAATSA action on its S-400 acquiring. This is why so far Indian govt at least almost always pushes the "soft" cooperation as first thing when mentioning Quad....it is on wait and see mode....but existing military cooperation is moved and augmented into it in meantime (might as well).

Praise the Lord, the Omnipotent CAATSA will be a interesting history lesson for future generations.

Secretary Austin and Minister Prabowo discussed the regional security environment, including the challenging situation in the South China Sea, as well as bilateral defense cooperation.
Secretary Austin emphasized the importance of further developing defense relations between the two countries and highlighted the capstone Army-to-Army exercise, Garuda Shield, scheduled to take place in August as an opportunity to build greater interoperability between our armed forces.

Well we have to see. Neither side is saying much for now...India has sent forces to get trained on it in Russia last year already (ongoing)....maybe something will get triggered when physical deliveries start or are imminent.
