Our last entry into WC was 2002, before that it was 1958. We never had that magic honestly save for individual talent and greater camaraderie in 2002.
Let's not forget the 2008 Euros, that was a fantastic run, we almost got to the final, we came pretty close to beating Germany.

I remember in my entire childhood Türkiye was seen as an almost top tier team. That disappeared by the time the 2010s came along. One other thing I noticed is that the players went from being humble to having huge egos

It was honestly shocking how badly Turkey played here. Feels like any football match involving you guys can be decided simply by flipping a coin regardless of all other factors involved.
For Turkey to have a chance in passing the qualifiers

>needs to win 6-0 (at least) against Paraguay
>should pray that the US vs Australia match doesnt end in a draw (which highly likely it will)

I guess Turkey should say goodbye to its world cup dream if the US vs Spain match ended in a draw
I suspect the US will absolutely curbstomp Australia, American team is really solid this year.

Then again so was Turkey's on paper.

I shit on their faggot haircuts and I spit on their idiotic faces. Bitches care more about Instagram, TikTok and their YouTube podcasts than about PLAYING.

Hopefully the midget Kerem breaks both his legs and I can never see him on a pitch again. Fuck the coach who put him as a striker every time.

Hopefully Baris Alper Yilmaz grows at least 2 brain cells or moves to another sport because football is not for him… It takes some brains and IQ and not only to run like headless chicken. May you be damned for how you waste your athletic potential, you idiot…

May I fuck the mother and the whole family of the Coach who keeps pushing this stupid line up over and over again when you have Can Uzun and Deniz Gul in the squad… You have some dumb fucks from Saudi Arabia as defenders but don’t use Ozan Kabak who was one of the best defenders in Germany last year. You fucking called Soyuncu, Salih Ozcan and a bunch of other cripples but refused guys who play in good teams in Portugal or the Player of the season in Denmark…

Fuck you all, fuck the idiots in the TFF, fuck even the TOGG drivers in the convoy that sent you to the airport. Die.

I didn't watch the match, how did those 2 overrated young players play?

It's something I realized many years ago. If we have 1 or 2 good players, then they only play well in foreign teams. But once they play for Türkiye, they are just worthless.

The players are faggots there is no brutality/strength/hate in them, that can propell them forward they need some fucking communist style training camp where they get hit in the fucking head when they don't perform. Not this faggotery

How well a team plays has nothing to do with how good the single players are. Arda or kenan play good because they have team that plays good its like a limitation. Imagine you have a race car that has the best performance in every possible way but then you put some guy behind the wheel who has no experience with that its the same problem. Give me rather mediocre players that actually play together than the best players in the world that play alone. The best match to see that is Turkey vs Czechia and Turkey vs Spain.

Not really good analogy.
Greece won EURO 2004 with crap players but they won it deservedly.
It is just mentality. Maybe different sport can be prioritised?
Figure skating, anyone?

Then those zesty a*s bitches shamelessly say...
"we didn't played bad, we just didn't score"
"we put up the necessary fight on the field. Sometimes, when it's not meant to be, it just doesn't happen."
"sometimes you need a slap to wake up"

Like WTF.

Monetlla said he couldn't find a position for Can Uzun, meanwhile he played like that...

Orkun plays on Arda Güler's position, Arda on the right wing, Kerem a winger as striker and Baris Alper is more bad than good, just take him out or put him on the right back he has no place in the offensive. Nobody plays on his own position and that shitface wants to tell us he couldn't find a place for Can Uzun, he also couldn't find time to subsitute him in the second half.

Roy Keane on Turkey losing 2-0 to Australia national soccer team in their World Cup opener:

🗣️ “I don't want to hear excuses. Before the match, everyone was talking about Turkey as if the three points were already in the bag. Well, football doesn't care about predictions.

Australia looked like a team playing for their lives. Turkey looked like a team waiting for something to happen. That's the difference. One side competed, the other side expected.

What annoys me most is the attitude. You can forgive mistakes. You can forgive missed chances. But you cannot forgive a lack of urgency at a World Cup.

Australia won the physical battle, the mental battle, and in key moments they won the football battle too. That's embarrassing if you're Turkey because they were supposed to be the team making the statement tonight.

Some players will look at the tactics, some will blame luck, and some will point fingers elsewhere. Nonsense. Start by looking in the mirror. World Cups are not won by talent alone.

The harsh reality is this: Australia arrived believing they could win. Turkey arrived believing they should win. One mindset creates history. The other creates headlines like this.”
