Is there some change in the design? Especially air intakes look like tempest
This is mega news if correct. Izdeliye 30 is the one with 40000lbf thrust level TVC engine that uses single crystal turbine blades if I remember correctly.
this company seems also good choice if political conditions allow it.
Large pinch of salt regarding source credibility but news itself is worthy enough to check if it is correct or false.This is mega news if correct. Izdeliye 30 is the one with 40000lbf thrust level TVC engine that uses single crystal turbine blades if I remember correctly.
But if the news is correct;
Who is going to co-produce this engine?
If it is going to be direct purchase, who will maintain the engines?
Is this engine ready to be used even?

According to recent news, Turkey has 4 alternatives for the TFX fighter until its national engine is ready

Agree. It would save time, money, and even provide the base for even better engines in the future. It may also give Turkish engineers a new perspective on how engines are created (if russian's engine is diff. Than Western' ones) as Turkey is more Western orientedYeah, a large pinch of salt is required. Maybe we can transfer our single crystal technology to Russians and they might deliver the production and selling rights of their engine kinda like MKE MP5-G3 production. This way the Russians can get single crystal technology that they have problems with and we can save a lot of bucks and time with all the designing, testing, etc. Turkish fighter turbofan development efforts might cost as much as TF-X itself and there is a long road ahead.
It seems like fair deal, is that crystal blade technology that challenging that russians might consider this kind of swap arrangement?Yeah, a large pinch of salt is required. Pardon ! But how do we know that our single crystal technology is at a level that can furnish AL41F1-izdeliye 30 engine’s turbine blades?It seems like fair deal, is that crystal blade technology that challenging that russians might consider this kind of swap arrangement?
Might @TheInsider could give better answer as he insinuated that possible option as part of potential deal.Pardon ! But how do we know that our single crystal technology is at a level that can furnish AL41F1-izdeliye 30 engine’s turbine blades?
