I am curious what is the age of defenceforum members? I am reading defence stuff since 2009.

Mid 30s here in age....though I have been following/participating in defence forums since I was about 12-13 years old...around 1998/1999.

Actually I keep in touch with some old timers from that era (I hope to convince some to drop by here later)....couple are actually from Holland interestingly enough ...Dutch seem to be relatively very engaged in defense oriented discussions I have found.

One Dutch guy I know was founder of major defence site/forum back then in 90s...a big aviation/aircraft database basically...but he is just way too busy with other matters these days....he doesn't even know his forum has changed hosting a few times since the best era of that forum... and basically forum's kinda dead now unfortunately (everything memberwise moved to facebook and twitter pretty much).

Good for us long-suffering readers of posts with more than 10, 000 (10,000!! and it isn't enough!!!!) characters.

Personally, I would prefer my characters to be members rather than posts.
