They probably don't think it's worth it to invest in the T-129 Atak integration because of the long duration of integration and tests, Italian license expiring and want to push for integration into the national T-629. That way they will both introduce a platform with more national input and also more modern, with more capabilities.

Tei is currently assembling lhtec cts800 while close to half of it produced locally. So I don't think we will have any problem if US stops the sale of spare parts.

I don't think there will be a problem with the TSK's T-129s. Don't want to enter a political discussion but the US have to keep a certain power balance when it comes to Turkey. With such a move they would almost cripple the attack helicopter fleet of Turkey and this is to much. Such a move would push Turkey to search for alternatives and this will bring a very difficult situation for the Euro-Atlantic alliance. For export it is different story. Turkey haves relations with countries that can possibly enter an US embargo. As we know Turkey sometimes haves a different approach than the US in solving problems driven by Turkey's national interests. If we want to be a power that is reckoned with and if we want to give fear to the enemy and security to our friends Turkey should be able to support its ally network with its national made weapons not tied to any licenses or export restrictions. With the T-629 hopefully we will have the luxury to do whatever we want with them, add whatever capability we want and export them to who we want, price them the way we want.

Likely not satisfied by the Chinese one, i am not quite familiar with the African market with a simple search i could find that Nigeria was expecting second hull of P18N to be constructed in Nigeria by local contribution but reports are telling it is completed in China.

My guesses:

Might be not satisfied with P18N (hard to say this, P18N is a solid design)

Dearsan has made a good offer for the product and partnership and they will acquire more from them in future with local construction.

They got the second and final hull in 2016 so looks like it's not about the product. They should order corvette/frigate to replace those old cutters. But looks like it's neighbors don't have much firepower.

Their strategic plan involves more OPVs (10 in some sources, minus 2 P18, 8 as of 2021 assuming cutters to be decommisioned soon) in the future and even LPDs and submarines. And with a little search it seems to be almost certain for China to get additional orders when Nigerian Navy has declared to order 2 OPVs.

For the cutters, it was landed on their lap so i think they had any plan to have those or continue their legacy. Those are some high maintenance OPVs without heavy weapons (missiles).

With a sufficiently long time frame, anything can be cracked. Relying on security by obscurity is always a losing proposition. Plus, do you really think the Tigray rebels are fighting alone? These operations began conveniently around the same time the dam issue with Egypt flared up again.

A kill switch to stop operation is good enough. Measures against reverse engineering is another matter. Very few nations can benefit from reverse engineering.

Here the great thing is Gökdeniz CİWS can work with foreign radar not just with MAR-D. C92 corvette doesn't have MAR-D. The versatile radar system can run Mica VL with Gökdeniz.
