Yes bro, I posted this already in the Turkish export thread. It's for our90m OPV
I need the courage to grind through this thread, or a long vacation to do so 😁.

But perhaps you guys can give me a quick brush up. Is the Advent system going to be incorporated in an existing network ?

I guess I’m hoping compatibility with other systems are possible.

I dunno exactly. Maybe @Anmdt could help explain if Advent system could be integrated into different existing CMS network.

Consider that most of our surface combatants uses Thales Tacticos CMS.

It is a bit confusing to me and i know Havelsan wouldn't hide if they have signed a contract to provide it. I also know Havelsan was once paying a visit for Bung Tomo upgrade in the past but it didnt conclude. So far the only referece is Jane's and others are rephrasing it, thus i prefer to wait some official statement from Havelsan to talk about it.

Advent can integrate vast of links (naturally as other CMS do) but won't be fully integratable on network level with other CMS unless others provide such add-ons.

Most of the integration for now on link level via simple data exchange between the ships. Integration over network is something else, it is a matter of commonization for using a common CMS so that in future the whole network integration will be easier with less burden.

instead of Mogami wouldn't it be better for a repeat order of more FREMM ??

===================================

Future main fleet composition should be liek this:

AAW

2x AH140

ASW

6x FREMM ASW
2x Maestrale
2x SIGMA 10514
3x Fatahillah

GP

3x F2000
4x SIGMA 9113

if we're committed to the planned 16 new frigates, I suppose we could do a repeat order for GP or AAW version FREMM.

That would be perfect, with fincantieri known to give aide on term of designing surface warship, like they did on india cv, or our Kornas program back then.

Is he talking about commonality?
" Semuanya ada perkembangan sehingga walaupun alutsistanya ini sama tetapi kemampuannya double, triple, bahkan mungkin juga bisa menangani beberapa alutsista,"

either he talked about having something as "Force Multiplier" or alutsista that were "Multipurpose/Multirole" and can be configured as per mission needs while having the same platform (commonality).

Technically, yes. But we know that arms procurements often involve political considerations as well.

Mogami frigates and other future arms procurement prospect from Japan can also be seen as a way to send stronger messages that, while not as 'harsh' or 'direct' as formally joining an alliance, should be understood clearly by other nations.

And then there's also financial aspect to consider too. While Japan-made weapons are well-known to be more expensive compared to others, but the offer of soft loans from Japanese side for us to buy the Mogamis are quite attractive, to say the least.

I don't think so

she was Udalloy I, technically 8 VLS with cannister (8 missile each).
Meanwhile Udalloy II, only one remain in service.

72 vls ah140 ID

wait, what ? 72 VLS or 72 missile ?
Since ESSM and CAMM can be quadpacked in Mk 41 or Sylver.

One thing for sure why I keep bragging about VLS number none other than to ensure Air Defence capability (especially when a ship is equipped with Mk 41 or eqivalen VLS).

Anyway, it's already November in rain and no AH140 design disclosed.

kind of unorthodox method, since from what i reconed The Army was the one who has many variants of "alutsista", and and have no willingness to standarize with other branch, no?
