"It seems that Roketsan will use the capsule technology that will be used for ATMACA B2 GM, also in HİSAR Derin GM. The nose part of the sectioned submarine model on the ASELSAN stand at the 10th Naval Systems Seminar ... Torpedo tubes and AKYA, ATMACA B2, ORKA and Unmanned Underwater+"

"We can consider one of the white capsules for ATMACA B2 as the GM of HİSAR Derin. On the other hand, ROKETSAN has been following the Supercavity Torpedo issue for a long time. Emerging Technologies in the Defense Industry, previously performed at the Rahmi Koç Museum in March 2017+"

"The topic of Supercavity Torpedo was included in the presentation titled Underwater Systems made at the 10th Naval Systems Seminar, as well as in the presentation titled New Generation Torpedo Systems made at the Workshop."

Looks like Dearsan has exported NTPB of unknown counts (likely armed one) to an unknown customer. It was spotted recently in the images and was known to be at the pier (probably launched in may) since june.

It is being kept secret, thus there should be a reason.

It is also available in satellite images.

The mast and aft deck is same as the version operated by Turkmenistan.

Think of the shipyard owner and the re-evaluate those digits :). (907)

I am thinking this is for export, especially it has got millenium gun that has made it sure.

The digits are fine though. ;)

Looks like something that would in slot nicely between Istif and TF-2000 in the future. Of course foreign systems replaced with indigenous ones.
But I'm not well versed in Naval matters.

Multi-static sonars with USVs, smart-guided ASW Rockets, miniature torpedoes with kement enabled wing suits or even a propulsion. 2025 will be a nice year to see.

Armerkom&DPO will likely introduce their own design for that gap.

We are talking about a Navy which barely admits small platforms to be designed by private partners.

I think it's amazing how Dearsan can churn out these. I'm quite ectatic and happy on behalf of the country that's going to receive the NTPB.

Do you think YTKB will have commercial sonar as others or there might be something different?
It is not even sure if the vessels are for TN, but the customer is TN. We will wait and see how this will unfold.

Could it be seconded to KKTC ? Instead of TN patroling the EEZ it could be KKTCN :)
Why not.. That would be great.. we can't afford it anyway haha. But Turkish Army in TRNC is shrinking day by day, lack of personnel. It has started after 2016 coup, and also many operations around the world so many gaps in the ranks here in Cyprus, as well as in tasks. All TAF troops gradually left the border to GKK and surveillance systems, also lacks many officers.. even I heard a rumor that GKK officers filling TAF ranks temporarily. It is not logical thing to keep 40k conscript here as well (now it is not that much though) A small professional force is enough or strengthening local forces. Naval security, rotary wings / aviation and border security, TAF gradually left all those tasks but GKK lack equipment and funding.

Coast guard and EEZ is another issue, we lack bigger ships, radars and UAVs because we rely on Turkey on bigger systems. Instead of overextending TN, why not strengthen TRNC. (or TRNC Coast Guard Command)

Land tests will be carried out in the National VLS (MİDLAS) project in 2022. The 2nd Reis class submarine will be towed to the pool.
