*according to reports, Malaysia's 4 Laksamana class corvette are no longer equipped with missiles. [source]

*3 Indonesian Badik class FAC, although still equipped with canisters, the MM38s are no longer combat ready.

Just as a note, If Taiwanese OHPs are still operating Mk13 launcher, that may be counted as a VLS. Especially if MICA / CAMM-ER / SeaWolf / ESSM cells are counted as a VLS.
In my opinion, point defense missiles contained in their own special cells, like MICA without Slyver A50 (minimum), CAMM-ER / ESSM / SS without MK41, should be excluded or If these are present then if any of the navies operate oblique or rolling launchers for SAM, like Taiwan, then those missiles should be included in there as well. If Quadpacked, unless the missile is a strategical SAM (so far i know, there is no quadpackable strategical SAM), then it should be counted as 1 cell.

I am currently working on article about naval design strategy in 20th century (esp between USN and RN) as a whole that hopefully will add some insight to how such factors continue and influence the situation and theatres today.

I think I'll update the list by classifying the VLS as strike length and point defense. That's a more reasonable choice imho.

It is an arm launcher but it can fire SM-1 and Harpoon and Taiwan uses SM-1 "domestically upgraded

" version. The missile is identical to VLS launched SM-2 in some terms. Also its fire interval is as close as it gets to a VLS.

It is a shame if 40 of SM-2 (certain block of an unknown but likely IIIA - B) equivalent upgraded SM-1's are not accounted in the strategic air-defenses.

It was predecessor of the flexible payload concept that evolved into VLS
