Well if marine really want EVA SPH from Slovak, maybe because they don't want something that needs the crew to be exposed while firing???
That's one adv. over Caesar I guess...

my go option for marine corps would be Zuzana 2 or Dana M2 (if we're talking about beachhead landing scenario) , not only battleproven compared to TMG EVA, looks like they had a smaller silhouette compared to towering truck cabin of TMG EVA (easier target), Zuzana 2 even had smaller driver section and better protection by the looks of it.

it's matter of choice if marine corps want shorter barrel like Dana M2 (45cal) or the same longer barrel like Zuzana 2(52 cal same like CAESAR and TMG EVA).

not only that, it would also strike fear towards our potential adversary with it's name.

Both SMART-L and APAR can do search and target tracking.
SMART-L for long range target search and tracking.
APAR for medium range target search and tracking with better accuracy + with 360° coverage will allow it to guide missile using Interrupted Continuous Wave Illumination (ICWI).
so you are saying that i iver both of them serve the same function, but focusing in a different range?
i thought SMART-L is more to a volume search radar rather than a tracking radar
well since arrowhead only have 1 radar, can they replace it with NS200 instead with NS100 for a better range???

APAR is typically paired with Thales Nederland's SMART-L passive electronically scanned array radar (which operates at L band frequencies). SMART-L is a long-range Volume Search Radar (VSR) that is able to provide volume search and tracking out to 480 km. The whole system is called Anti-Air Warfare Systems (AAWS), and is based on the NATO Anti-Air Warfare (NAAWS) concept of the late 1980s. The principle behind this concept is that an X band MFR coupled with an L band VSR provides the optimal combination of complementary capabilities: the VSR is optimized for long range detection and tracking of targets, while the MFR is optimized for medium range high accuracy tracking of targets, as well as horizon search and missile guidance functions.

The final design is not yet concluded, it is still possible to have 2 radar like IH and in the same position as well.

I think you can put 2 radar on the main mast, 4 fixed panel AESA radar and the rotating radar at the top, although I prefer IH configuration where 2 radar is separated(for redundancy).

I am curious if that "octagon shaped" fixed panel radar is AN/SPY series.

Well didn't the US offered their naval products to us recently, maybe we can get AN/SPY + Aegis + US VLS(mk.41 and maybe mk.56) + ESSM + SM series + RUM-139 ASROC.

i think RUM is kind a too advanced / not quite suitable for a GP/AW frigate
ESSM is to replace CAMM as short range plus RIM-156A (SM-2) for med range air-air missile??
or simply just put those Aster series

i loved the RIM-174 ERAM but i don't think TNI can get it

this is crunch

.
Also SMART-L radar is used for Ballistic Missile Detection, high elevation and volume search with range up to 2000Km

kemhan could just force marine corps to ditch their AAV-7 Procurement plan and go with this instead.
We need so many of this to replace current btr50 anyway so it's possible to take AAV and Zaha at the same time.
