All 3 seas surrounding Türkiye are in the range of ground based ATMACAs. Doctrines of WW2 outdated.

The German Empire, Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman State lost WO I because they had no navy.

We must build a large Navy, so big that it should be partioned in 3 parts;

- The Turkish Black Sea Fleet
- The Turkish Aegean Fleet
- The Turkish Mediterranean Fleet

Thats true but Germany had the strongest navy but their Navy still could not compete with the British.

In ww1 they suffered a high attrition rate hence why it was easy for the British to blockade them.

Ottomans and Austro-Hungarians had a navy but their navies were largely local. Ottomans barely had a existing navy hence why Gallipoli happened to remedy the fact we had a crappy navy and that Istanbul was under threat we relied on torpedo boats, sea mines and long range artillery to fight off dreadnoughts coming in.

germany didnt have the strength in numbers like the british. navy game is a numbers game. the more ships you have, the more naval territory you hold.
hence we need to pump up those vessel quantities.

The Ottoman naval dominance during the reigns of Sulaiman I (Oruç Reyis, Hızır Reyis) and Selim I (Sinan Reyis, Turgut Reyis, Salih Reyis) were the outmosted. We controlled almost the entire Mediterranean and the Black Sea.

We need that quantity again. Producing a lot of vessels and ships, recruiting more seamen, building more docks and harbors and training more captains and admirals.

We have the manpower and resources and knowhow, but we are missing the motivation to do it very quickly, despite that our homeland is almost entirely surrounded by water.

Three different coasts.
Three different seas.
So we need three different navies.

We should create a strong navy to protect homeland , if a superpower like China and US park 5 Supercarrierns and desteoyers 1000 km away from Turkiye to lunch cruise missiles and fighter aircraft to bomb , Turkiye must be able with its navy to destroy those vessels .

What about air force that could hit those who launch cruise missiles?
What air defense umbrella that could intercept cruise missiles?
Arm racing with superpowers' Navies sounds unreasonable expensive .

having a strong army gives you to escort the shipments to and from your motherland to your trade partners and also pulling up to those who misbehave towards you and tear them a new one. in short, stabilizes the market access and flow of goods to your motherland. its benefits outweigh the expenditure.

Turkish Coas Guard could be upgraded to undertake some of those missions. Give them 1500 tonnage corvettes or so and range. Fill it with retired naval personelle who wants to serve the country

Does Turkish Republic have a such problem? Vice versa we have free access to markets but we are lack of goods to export.

Yes we do. Black sea needs to be turned into a Turkish lake.
Blacksea countries literally have no navy and whatever junk Russia has poses no threat against us. Some patrol ships, a frigate or two, and several UAVs and USVs will be enough.

The Mediterranean is the real threat we face. We should invest in carrier killer technologies. We should arm ourselves to counter multiple US navy carrier/task groups.

The only real threat towards Türkiye is the US with their mainland far far away.
We need carrier killers and hypersonic glide vehicles to counter this threat.

there are A LITERAL FUCKTON of trucks in any border opening that is open across all of this country every time you look at it. Despite not having any significant hydrocarbon reserves to call our own, our economy is bigger than Saudi fucking Arabia.
and yet our goods get stuck in our borders bcuz our navy game is lackin'. Having a proper navy expands your reach across the world.

The US has one weakness and strength it is far away from the rest of the world. Once their power projection capability is gone the US will struggle a lot. The US power projection capability revolves around task groups/carrier groups.
