On the contrary, the diesel electric hybrid system in series is not an amateur job. But it is the simplest way to convert electric energy to mechanical energy.
Please remember that, here there is NO engine. But a diesel electric generator. This generator’s electric supply is enough to drive the electric motors when cruising.
Hybrids that use a series drivetrain only receive mechanical power from the electric motor, which is run by either a battery or a gasoline-powered generator or both in conjunction. In hybrids with parallel drivetrains, the electric motor and internal combustion engine can provide mechanical power simultaneously or separately as well. Series drivetrains enable the generator and electric motor to provide power independently or in conjunction with one another. A computer decides how much power is used from batteries or generator.
With a parallel set up you would need some form of transmission to convert internal combustion engine’s power to mechanical power. (unless you have an ingenious method like Honda hybrid drivetrain where in fact the engine acts as an electric generator to provide current directly to the electric motors)
Well my point was to have a transmission but an additional electrical motor bearing the extra load when necessary, thus prolonging the life of transmission and the engine with remarkable margins.
At least the field personnel and armies are not ready to opt for a full diesel-electric drivetrain. They would like to see the diesel engine can run the wheels just like the old times when the electrical motor fails or affected from the battlefield. At least giving them options to roll around.

İf turboshafts consume too much and they are efficient at high RPM, what about using 3 x 500hp turboshafts as generator in hybrid tank?

İn electric tank, You don't need a transmission, you don't need a battery back.
Let computer manage 3 turboshaft engines as generator. At very low speed use just one engine, then switch the second and finally the third.

Using 3 engines would also help maintenance of engines.

As a general rule the bigger an engine the more efficient.
A 1500hp single engine is more fuel efficient then 3x500hp engines.
If you can make a case where fuel efficiency takes the back seat it is a winner.

Actually, these engines do exist. Here is a micro turbo gas turbine electric generator with axial flow compressor.
So the idea is sound. But….

But there are some possible drawbacks. These engines need recuperators to increase their output power efficiency. But to get the recuperator work in line with the turbine output is hard.
As these are jet engines of one form another, they suffer from jet engine life and maintenance interval limitations as well.

Some form of these gas turbines are actually used in large airliners’ tail end to produce electrical power as APUs.
But a 500HP engine with all it’s accessories etc is not going to be small.
Below is a 140HP APU generator used in a jet fighter. It is not small. The actual turbine is lost inside the paraphernalia of accessories.

Turbine engines never took off as a generator for land vehicles.
They do a good job in the air where there is a constant high power need or at see where fuel weight is not an issue. But on the ground their disadvantages outweigh their advantages.
Capstone engines make turbine power generators with recuperators and maintenance-free air bearings. But their 30 kW application to power buses never got past trials. Largely because battery electric is better for that purpose.
Japanese made briefcase size turbine power generators but there is no sign that have been used.
Kadakovsky make a simple10kW generator and their patent must have expired now.
Flying cars could have used them but Paul Moller opted wankel engines and he failed, I even told them to use turbines. Now jetpacks and jetquads are trying to use them with mixed success.
You need high power demand for a short time and in continuous manner to make a good use of them.

There will be a Tender for Tracked APCs and IFVs (with Korhan Turret)

- Competition will be held and afterward Turkish Land Forces Command will declare a winner
- 1800 Vehicle will be ordered in several batches.

But the Tender will be AFTER the Wheeled APC and IFV Tender which is ongoing (Same Korhan Turret)

- Competition between ALTUG 8x8, ARMA 8x8, PARS IV 8x8. Turkish Land Forces is expected to Declare the winner this year.
- 362 Vehicle in the initial Batch and almost 1200 Vehicles ultimately.

So First 8x8s and then Tracked Competition next Year.

IMHO Turkish Land Forces especially Navy should acquire relatively light tanks around 35-40 ton.
In this regard Turkish defence industry has every capability. Why not use the opportunities?

Looks like German Boxer with larger screen and cockpit.

Yes I think FNSS let itself be inspired by the Boxer design. Pars V (Just gonna name it this until we can an official designation) seems to modular like the Boxer.
Guess we will find out more at IDEF'23 if it is actually a real project and not just an concept.

Weird timing though. With Pars IV taking part in the YNHZA for the TSK. Or are we seeing a vehicle developed on the wishes of the Land Forces?

We will see.
