This is probably for the turret requirement, original Pars have issues with large turret imo. Turret and Engine placement is better with this design so probably shortly, we will see this one being offered with Korhan.

If we only had a state of the art 8x8 IFV with heavy Turret carrying capacity, we could have had these Vehicles enter the Armed Forces earlier.

Yes I think FNSS let itself be inspired by the Boxer design. Pars V (Just gonna name it this until we can an official designation) seems to modular like the Boxer.
Guess we will find out more at IDEF'23 if it is actually a real project and not just an concept.

Weird timing though. With Pars IV taking part in the YNHZA for the TSK. Or are we seeing a vehicle developed on the wishes of the Land Forces?

We will see.
The second I saw pars iv unveiled I knew it was going to be disliked for the YNHZA project. It was heavily based on pars SOF 6x6 and it wasn't looking good, especially the ifv version. TSK probably talked to the FNSS guys to address the issues of pars iv. Too bad though because if that really happened BMC could kiss goodbye to the ynhza tender, they wasted resources developing the Altug which turned out to be a pretty sweet vehicle. As for otokar they never stood a chance so they still should rely on sales made to african and arab countries.

Pars with 25mm should be good for urban warfare

Something seems to be going quite wrong with Land Vehicle Programs in the hands of FNSS.
Don't get me wrong, I am by no means an Expert but the given Dates cannot be achieved it seems.

- FNSS ACV-15 Modernization

The Infos on the Program are Sparse but no real Delivery in sight. with Changing Prototypes.

View attachment 36434

This is not that big of a Modernization effort as well.

- FNSS Pars IV

View attachment 36435

The first deliveries of Pars IV 6×6 Mine Protected Vehicles, which will be the first in the TAF inventory, will be made in 2021.
The initial 12 Deliveries were scheduled for 2021 but no Info as December approaches.

- FNSS Pars IZCI 6x6 and 8x8

View attachment 36436

In the ÖMTTZA project, which has a 36-month project schedule, it is planned to deliver 100 vehicles within 1 year.

March 17, 2021

That means they have to deliver 100 Pars IZCI in 4 Months but no Info on that one as well.

- FNSS ZAHA

CEO Kurt says "These 3 ZAHA will be delivered in the first half of 2021" Yet nothing on that as well.

- FNSS KAPLAN MT

View attachment 36437

"According to the 2019 contract, FNSS and PT Pindad must jointly produce a batch of 18 tanks.
The first Kaplan is ready, and all of the remaining ones are at various stages of construction. It is reported that the two manufacturers will complete the assembly of the first batch of equipment by the end of this year.

During IDEF-2021, plans for the near future were announced.
So, a second order for 52 tanks should appear soon. They should be built and handed over during 2022."

Here we have no Information as well on the Current Status of the Kaplan for set delivered untile the end of 2021 and they are supposed to built 52 in 2022.
4 per Month!

FNSS STA Project

View attachment 36438

Even here the Serial Production started quite late for my thinking.

FNSS General Manager and CEO K. Nail KURT said, “Our Weapons Carrier Vehicles contract, signed between the Presidency of Defense Industry and our Company in June 2016, for the KAPLAN STA vehicles offered to the use of the security forces after the qualification tests were completed in accordance with the project schedule. It includes a total of 260 vehicles

The Serial Production Deliveries Started in 04/2020.

Almost 4 Years after Contract signing. Isn't this a simple 2x ATGM Carrier or am I missing something.

I have no Idea if I am overthinking or if there is a problem here.

This is getting really weird.
I Posted the Writing above like 8 Months Ago and still nothing has changed.
I Hope everything is going fine for FNSS and their Subcontractors.

First hybrid barrel production facility to be established in Turkey

Repkon Business Development and Corporate Communications Manager Uğur Cem Gürpınar told Anadolu Agency (AA) that they will establish a comprehensive partnership with Titomic to establish the world's first hybrid pouring and cold spraying production facility.

Stating that they will establish the world's first hybrid production facility for the supply of barrels in the defense sector, Gürpınar stated that Repkon's flowforming technologies and Titomic's kinetic fusion technologies will be used at the facility that will operate in Turkey. Gürpınar stated that thus, lighter barrels with improved new features can be produced with various and unique material combinations in shorter delivery times.

Repkon General Manager İbrahim Külekçi emphasized that Titomic is a leading company with proven reliability in the field of metal additive manufacturing and stated that this partnership will be extremely beneficial in the production and sales of barrels designed by Repkon. Külekçi said, "We believe that the performance, superior strength and cost advantages offered by these products and production processes offer unique opportunities for our barrels. We look forward to exploring these opportunities even more in the coming months and years." said.

Titomic General Manager Herbert Koeck stated that thanks to the ability to use the combination of two innovative processes in barrel manufacturing, the established facility will lead the production of new generation barrels, and many design features that were not possible before can be realized in barrels.

Repkon and Titomic aim to complete the installation of the world's first hybrid barrel production facility by the end of the year.

Barrel, rocket body, warhead

Repkon, which has been working in the metal forming sector for more than 40 years, offers strategic products for the defense, aerospace and aerospace industries to domestic and foreign users.

In rotational cold forging (swaging) technology, the company completely got rid of foreign dependency in both machine production and shaping technique, and by dominating all the technology, especially in the manufacture of 5,56, 7,62, 9 and 12.7 millimeter caliber barrels, implicit or open embargoes are subject to domestic and national specific embargoes. reached the point where he could offer a solution.

Repkon has finally eliminated its foreign dependency on this issue by producing the 40 mm grenade launcher barrel for the first time in the world with flowforming and putting it into the inventory.

Repkon can also manufacture rocket bodies from 70 to 650 millimeters in diameter with flowforming technology. Warheads with diameters from 105 to 155 millimeters can also be produced with hot spinning and hot swaging machines developed by the company.

Okay maybe Altay is not gonna be operational due engine export ban. But I dont understand one thing. Why we are not proceed about next-gen ZMA-IFV project.Looks like there is no problem on 750-1000 hp class engine.

And also we have a many more good ifv options. And of course most important is Korhan as well. With help of his smart muntion and 35 mm turret it have a grater advantage to land targets and aerial targets when compared other ifv's and also he have a 2x omtas-umtas launcher its can be very helpfull to our old tanks when mechanized collomun faced a enemies more advanced tank forces.

Why we are wait in the field of Ifv ? Turkish Army kind powerfull land forces is must have that kind of ifv.

FNSS is starting a big modernisation program for the 25-30 year old AFVs in Turkish inventory. Initial batch is for 133 vehicles.
This will involve extensive modernisation of the vehicles to improve their survivability, unmanned turrets, New weapons with new fire control systems, fire suppression systems and also their motors and transmissions will be renewed. Plus any parts that need renewing.

ACV-15 MOD is what is most likely being offered to Malaysia for its ACV-300 Adnan modernization tender.

Looks like FNSS showed off both Pars III 6x6 (being offered in the 6x6 tender) and ACV-300 MOD to the King.

Quite the Tender.

Up to 400 6x6 APCs would be huge for FNSS.

Malaysian Army is also expected to tender for 36 new 4x4 (PARS 4x4)

and they have 267 ACV-300 which could eligible for Modernization.

I mean Economy of Scale is a thing so hopefully this would reduce the Price which would mean TAF can order more APCs.

I think Otokar is also participating in the 4x4 tender with Cobra II.

I don't know if they are in the 6x6 tender though.
