Gül was a tw** who couldn't even speak proper Turkish.

Which ak party minister isnt a moron? Gul knew how to navigate media interviews. He was the only one i saw in english media that knew how to deal with it.

Davidson was a fool.
Erdogans son in law a clown.
Egeman Bagis an embarrassment.

we could go on and on but that wasnt my point to begin with. The baykar guy gets baited into her antagonistic question. She knew what she was doing, he didnt know what he was doing, though he did try to divert from it initially.

Complete lack of geopolitical nuance or diplomacy. She's cornering him to say we won't sell weapons to Russia, which indirectly harms the Turkish Russian relationship, which benefits America and the EU. Turkey doesnt exist to benefit America or Russia, she exists to benefit her own people and then her friends.

These people shouldn't do these sorts of interviews. I get you make some nice drones, but please we need people who understand state diplomacy.

This is coming from someone who has no love for Russia, who doesn't support 1% of what they are doing and someone who wishes we arm Ukraine more.

What he should have said was something along the lines of we have a great relationship with Ukraine and we also have a great relationship with Russia. In this specific circumstance and he should highlight this is his personal opinion not state opinion, since he does not speak for the state, that it would be wrong to support Russia here. Like wise if Russia was ever attacked or invaded unjustly that Turkey would look to support Russia, that would couldnt look away when our friends are in trouble. But he would like to see peace come soon between these two nations that Turkey is both friends with.
He should have said that Russia has its own drone(Kronshstadt Orion) which would have shut her up.

First mistake is going on CNN to begin with. Rarely anything good (for your people/country) comes out of going on CNN for contentious subject stuff...as CNN will goad you into something you really shouldn't be commenting on....so they (or buddies) can then launder that for their agenda.

If for whatever reason you do go on CNN or US/Western media in general (for something involving a war) you should not volunteer anything past the precise answer to the question.

Answer number one: No we have not supplied Russia with this technology.

Answer number two: It is not in our interests presently to supply Russia.

You have to make things as stale, precise, short and boring as possible.

The whole "answer not what was asked of you, but what you wish were asked of you" (as Rob McNamara put it) is for a seasoned official representative of the country.

CNN deliberately avoids bringing in such people for a reason (for their short air soundbite segments).....so (non-govt, non-official) guests should be wary of that always.

yeah I couldnt agree more. I would expect that people who are dealing with the international media have at least some kind of training to at least know what they are dealing with and how to navigate it.

Ecevit knew how to navigate the media.

If you pay attention to the BBC interviewer every question is framed against Ecevit and that Turkey is the bad guy in this story. Yet Ecevit comes out of it looking good and presenting the strong Turkish position.

100 HIMARS are needed for a counteroffensive

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov

Ukraine calls on partners to give their new weapons for testing in real conditions on the battlefield.

To stop the Russian offensive, Ukraine needs 50 HIMARS MLRS, and a hundred of these systems will help the Armed Forces of Ukraine conduct a counteroffensive.

This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov at the Atlantic Council discussion.
Reznikov noted that the

Armed Forces of Ukraine use these systems "like a surgical scalpel."

"Given that our active front line is almost 2.5 thousand kilometers - it's like the distance between Warsaw and Barcelona - for effective protection we need about 50 of these systems (HIMARS and M270 - ed.)", - said the minister.

He noted that Ukraine also needs additional armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles and reconnaissance drones.

Reznikov also called on Ukraine's partners to test new weapons on the battlefield against the invaders.

"I think this is a good chance for our partners in Poland, the United States, France, Germany, or our Turkish partners to test their weapons. So give us the tools, we will finish the job, and you will have new information," Reznikov said.

According to him, many weapons are now being tested in real combat conditions.

Recall that the United States announced the transfer of another batch of HIMARS to Ukraine. It will be part of the next $700 million US military aid package..

Russian news report. Claimed by 2 based and truth-pilled politicians

Indeed. Ukrainian are intentionally injected with T-Virus right out of Umbrella Corporation. A secret US government project to increase people situational awareness and can't feel the pain, which turns out to be damned and infected the whole city made by that very company, Raccoon City. That city was obliterated with nuclear weapon btw, to contained the virus.

Is it possible to catch the most dangerous Russian bouncing mine OZM-72? Such an experiment was conducted by the Military Lens channel in Ukraine

HIMARS long-range strike

Photo: twitter.com/walter_report

The distance from the controlled territory to Lazurne is almost 100 km

According to analysts following the course of the war, the GMLRS missiles flew 100 km, which is 16 km more than the declared firing range.

Ukrainian defenders launched a missile attack on Russian troops in Lazurnoye, Kherson region. As a result, the Podlet-K1 radar complex was destroyed.

At the same time, it should be noted that from other angles, the missiles did not fly higher than the declared 84 km, if they were installed not to the east of Nikolaev, but to the south.

As a result of the strike, the Podlet-K1 radar complex was hit along with the radar, command vehicle and generator.
