yeah I couldnt agree more. I would expect that people who are dealing with the international media have at least some kind of training to at least know what they are dealing with and how to navigate it.

Ecevit knew how to navigate the media.

If you pay attention to the BBC interviewer every question is framed against Ecevit and that Turkey is the bad guy in this story. Yet Ecevit comes out of it looking good and presenting the strong Turkish position.

Ukraine calls on partners to give their new weapons for testing in real conditions on the battlefield.

To stop the Russian offensive, Ukraine needs 50 HIMARS MLRS, and a hundred of these systems will help the Armed Forces of Ukraine conduct a counteroffensive.


This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov at the Atlantic Council discussion.
Reznikov noted that the
Armed Forces of Ukraine use these systems "like a surgical scalpel."

"Given that our active front line is almost 2.5 thousand kilometers - it's like the distance between Warsaw and Barcelona - for effective protection we need about 50 of these systems (HIMARS and M270 - ed.)", - said the minister.

He noted that Ukraine also needs additional armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles and reconnaissance drones.


Reznikov also called on Ukraine's partners to test new weapons on the battlefield against the invaders.

"I think this is a good chance for our partners in Poland, the United States, France, Germany, or our Turkish partners to test their weapons. So give us the tools, we will finish the job, and you will have new information," Reznikov said.

According to him, many weapons are now being tested in real combat conditions.

Recall that the United States announced the transfer of another batch of HIMARS to Ukraine. It will be part of the next $700 million US military aid package..
